Man, if the main character was a male Belmont I'd be all over this. I just don't like the fact that you have to play as a woman. I want to save the girl, not play as her.

That waterfall in the trailer looks identical with the one in SOTN.

It's nice that they atleast remaked The Creature.

The waterfall in the trailer has this weird mist effect to it. At the bottom, it doesn't look like SotN's- albiet superior- waterfall.

Yeah, it looks like some areas are really, really unfinished or prototypical. The invisible chests the Nintendo Power article talked about are quite visible in the trailer.

I'm not bothered by the music or the animation. Like Antraxx said, with that much detail I wouldn't expect any more, and it definitely doesn't look like something from Photoshop. The music kind of reminds me of Leon's Theme, which isn't bad- at worst, I'd say it's slightly generic. In fact, I'm reminded more of her OZ soundtrack than Castlevania. Kind of action-y.

Maybe a similar layout around it, but what are you gonna do where a waterfall is concerened. It is not the same fall though. The SOTN one dropped from the right edge of the screen down. This one is at the back and center.

Yeah he looks good.

I also want to say that the particle effects and spell effects I see this time are probably some of the best I've ever seen in the series. Beautiful.

Also of note: The order's leader seems to have you choose between 3 glyphs and Albus raids the party. Shanoa seems to freez an entire river or waterfall at one point in the footage.

That is such a sexist remark. You can't accept that a girl like Shanoa would be tough enough to save herself? I mean, hell, she's out to save the entire world, actually, because the Belmonts somehow wussed out.

I dunno... maybe Richter has alzheimer's or something by that age.

I don't give a shit if it's sexist or not. That's how I feel. I can't relate to a woman protagonist.

Ok. they have used many old enemies, but they have also plenty new enemies. The stages varied, unlike PORK and the graphics are very nice and the eviroments of places. The music wasn't all that good and what i was expecting to hear, but we have at least 6 month's for the game to get released, so i believe that we will have many improvements at the final product. That trailer, it gave that feeling, that i was having when i saw for the first time aria of sorrow!

Looks like I was right about the tower. It doesn't look all that great cuz it becomes disposable. You can clearly see Shanoa and the crab falling back down it, and it looks to me it would become blocked off by that broken lift. As it was a dead-end at the top, you likely won't be climbing back up it.

But who knows, maybe you can break through from a secret somewhere.

My guess is you actually are chased up that tower by the crab creature, and then actually knock the elevator from the top to eventually crush it.  Animation quality looks to be between that of DoS and PoR.

There are some secret chests that apparently be unvealed by crouching in the right spot.  Remember the old CV tradition of unearthing hidden treasures by ducking in the right spot?

MP looks to recover MUCH sooner after attacking, which is what I was worried about, and recovery rate is faster than the Magus Ring from PoR, so I think I'll be fine with this new glyph system.

I support the better animation required cause.

It's not sexist at all.  he prefers to play as a male character.  He isn't saying that women are inferior to men, or shouldn't be treated equally.  He enjoys playing as a male more than a female.  Hell... everyone prefers playing there own sex, it just varies in magnitude...

People need to calm down with this sexist crap, preferring to play as your own gender in a video game is not sexist.

He has a preference for what kind of stories he likes.  There are even women with the same preference, and vice versa with men.

People are far to quick to throw the sexist card around... based on this logic all transexuals are sexist because they'd rather be one gender than another...
