I heard somewhere (I can't remember) That this game actually has nothing to do with Dracula.

Serio's right. Dracula is actually suppose to be the *only* returning character as a matter of fact.  (I wonder if maybe Death was overlooked because you know...it's Death.  Either that or he's not being counted as a *character* storyline wise and only as a boss, therefor, could still appear.)

I'm hoping that (at E3) we get a few gameplay videos (and not all from the Monastery), another official trailer, and release date(s). (Hopefully it will come out by September or sooner, even if I have to import it...)  I think IGN or something said August in Japan, but I kinda doubt it. (Too good to be true.)

I was suppose to say something profound here. I don't 'do' profound so much as ramble so...whatever. Here lies text. Congratulations for reading it.  You were as bored as I am. Seriously, stop reading, you can't be that bored.  Still here? Really?  You officially are my new favorite person and now are owed one internet cookie. Don't eat it though, it gives you bad gas.

I should hope Death makes an appearance. I would prefer him appear as a character, not just a boss, but I find it unlikely. I think Death DESERVES a role as an actual character, but Konami apparently disagrees.

Hmm...come to think of it, the only recent game I can think of where Death was a character was in PoR, where he had "samurai-like aspects." In DoS, he was just a boss n_n

uh okay but what would you do? Go around collecting souls and sending them to heaven/hell? Sounds pretty boring to me.

he meant as a villain that's relevant to the story, like in hod/loi/cod not as a playable character.

though that could be kinda cool.

ah now I understand what your saying, why though? isn't it cooler for him to keep to himself and do his duty, personally I think games where he talks way to much like Por cheapen the character. He's dracs right hand man, he doesn't need any dialogue he just straight up kills people.

1 dimensional characters are not cool.  I love it when we get to see Death doing his duty while Dracula is not around.  Be it protecting his dormant castle, or actually working towards his resurrection.  It makes him a lot cooler than just being a boss.  What I don't like is how differently he is portrayed as a character in the games.  The only games where he seems like the same character are PoR and HoD.  In LoI, CoD, and SoTN he is written totally differently, personality wise at least.

Haha, I just like him better when he actually has a role as a character (NOT PLAYABLE!) like in Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania 64, Legacy of Darkness, Symphony of the Night, etc.

I think Dracula's main servant deserves much more than he got in games like Dawn of Sorrow. He didn't even get the clock tower in that game! That stupid time-controlling thing got it instead! That should've been reserved for Death.
