the service is great and the people actually like their job and know what they are doing. (I was surprised too.)

You're lucky to find a competent Gamestop, Maddi.

The guys at my gamestop are pretty cool too. Heck, they actually know what they're doing. I remember one time, this kid came in with his mother and tried to buy some fifty cent game, and the mom asked them if it was appropriate. The guy said, "Naw, not really for someone his age. And kid, trust us, that game sucks anyways. It's really a waste of money, don't bother with it."

Not often you'll see employees actually encouraging customers *not* to buy something, but at my gamestop, they actually care about making sure their patrons don't waste monies. :o

Heck yeah, the other two may not be worth crap, but the third one is sweet. They actually make sure you get your pre-order bonuses (they tape/attach it to the game) and the store itself calls as soon as they get it in the store.  I didn't realize so many Gamestops sucked.  :-X

I was suppose to say something profound here. I don't 'do' profound so much as ramble so...whatever. Here lies text. Congratulations for reading it.  You were as bored as I am. Seriously, stop reading, you can't be that bored.  Still here? Really?  You officially are my new favorite person and now are owed one internet cookie. Don't eat it though, it gives you bad gas.

Gamestop is the only one within an hour drive from my house, besides Toys R Us, but I never find anything good there.

The Software Etc. store nearest to my home was bought out by Gamestop. Sucks, because they used to carry all sorts of crazy shit; it's where I first found NitM for the Saturn.

Gamestop kinda sucks here too. The father of a friend of mine went there and asked if they had something like Zelda for his son. What did they give him? Prince of Persia! This is haresy.
I sometimes buy games there though. Other than that we have Saturn and Media Markt here. Toys'R'Us is pretty crappy in germany. But I found a cool star wars action figure there. And they have keyboards there.

Totally. :o

But once, when I buyed Phantom Hourglass, another employee there told me, he already had it and it would be pretty fun. Kinda sympathetic. Too bad he once tried to make me buy Excitetruck...
