Oh. Ok. That's fine with me.

That goes without saying. As if anyone here would not play it only because of bad reviews.

I'll take these words and quote them when someone give credit to any bad CastleVania Judgment review.

Heh, good point.

Anyways, higher difficulty (assuming it's true) is a plus. The CotM producer worked on this game, so that could have been a factor. Though, I remember some reviews labeled PoR as a 'challenge', so...they could just be really bad at these kind of games.

Seeing some of videos of those guys playing it sure lend credence to that.

Whoever the guy was that said you get thrown to the last save point when you die to a boss.. Has he never played a Castlevania game before? Who do they hire to review these games? Fucking apes, that's what.

This is why reviews don't bother me until I read IGN's. : D

I just remember one of them came into a save room and... fucking tried to absorb it because he thought it might be a glyph. It really took some time 'til he recognised it as a save spot. Same thing happened when he arrived at the warp room. Only that he just left it at "well, I can't figure it out LOLZ so let's press ahead". He also got hit by practically every skeleton or bat. Fucking retard.

Here's my question about this CV difficulty fetish.  Do you want these CV games to be hellishly difficult because of the series' NES nostalgia factor, or is it because you thought recent CV games were too easy compared to other games released about the same time?

I support the better animation required cause.

That is undeniably an accurate statement.  If an decent review is to be made, the reviewers should have at least played the type of game before if not from the same series.  Or, if there is an inexperienced person reviewing the game, you also have an experienced person to give some kind of perspective.

When do you think you will be able to get the OST up?

I need music D<

When I get the soundtrack, which comes with the Special Edition.

lol, the GI review said, you'd have to fight bosses for "up to five minutes" ZOMG! I might get carpal-tunnel if I have to fight a boss that crazy hard.
