maybe the guy who did the Ecclesia designs didn't like the design of Shanoa in Judgment, so he decided to get even with Obata and turn Aeon into a chubby baker?

Obata is the worst character designer ever, even worse than Falcoon.    Judgement has become trash before it's even released.   

but yeah thankfully Ecclesia has a worthy artist.

mountains are different and the forests are different I have seen screenies of both areas.

for the record that baker's name is Ion.

Most likely will be Ian in american version, as I surmised.

I'm not reading any spoilers this time. I couldn't even read the IGN review cause it had spoiler warnings. Anyway, the game now seems to come to Europe on March 31, 2009. ROFLOL! No fukin' way I'm waiting until then. I'm importing it next month or something.

Seems like you were right. I bet 20 Erimo Cards it will be Ian, 'cuz Ion would be dumb.

Ion translates to John in at least on language (Romanian).  I find calling that dumb a little offensive considering my middle name is Ionut (the equivalent of Johnny).

The baker's name would be John if they're trying to anglicize the game, not Ian.
