How is the camera awful? I haven't had any problems with it at all, and I haven't heard any complaints about it from most people(not just at this forum).
The camera will pick the worst spots to display the battlefield. For example, in front of a character's back so that he/she completely blocks our view of the other character. It's nearly impossible to tell how far away the characters are from each other in this situation, and that's sort of a bad thing in a fighting game. (Imagine your special move whiffing, which results in you eating a super.)
So yes, the camera is awful. I've gotten somewhat used to it, though. I think of Judgment as fighting against two entities: the opponent and the camera.
At the time of this writing, I have played over 100 Ranked Matches online. And I've reached 4th place in the entire network. (In case you're wondering, I've fought over 15 different people to get there, so I'm not picking on the same newbie over and over again.)
The reason I say this is because the only character I used the entire time was Golem. That's right, Golem. All 100+ matches. No one else.
Everyone kept bashing him, saying how he was too slow and clunky to be any good. But I like to think that every character is usable. Golem may not be the best character in the entire game, but 4th place for a character who's supposedly useless and shitty is kind of odd, don't you think?
So the next time someone says that Golem is bottom tier, tell them what I've done.
Next character I wanna try is Carmilla. She needs more love. I swear, Carmilla and Golem are the least played characters I've seen online.
