I guess in this day and age, people are used to having either an ass-load of characters, or a fair amount and a shitty customer creation mode.

In my eyes 14 comes off a little unacceptable, especially for a series as litigous and expansive as Castlevania. I think 20 would have been fine.

Yeah well, I care more about Obata's costumes anyway, hideous or not. After all, that's how the characters are meant to look in this particular game. I've already seen the old ones, I know what they look like, it's nothing new. And I like new stuff. But it's nice to have a choice at least. If that's what we're getting.

That's only because, in this day and age, most fighting games that get released are installments of a franchise, which at their point, have expanded their character rosters greatly since the first game. It's very rare that we get original fighting games, but even Guilty Gear(10) and Arcana Heart(12) had less that Judgement's.

I had thought Iga mentioned that there would be no additional costumes.  It seems like they responded to the fan outcry and decided put in the extra costumes after all.  Good move.

Let't forget that character breaking howl alucard delivers when hes knocked to the ground. I probably won't use him because of that. (or get very good lol)

Also it's not so much the voice acting as it is the script itself. I mean, so far Simon doesn't sound so bad...but the script makes him sound like a dick.

Also, in one Vid you actually see Alucard having black hair. I think recolors will be the only costume changes you're going to see.

Also Sypha seems to have the same voice as Stella in PoR.
