Christopher Belmont.
Well, his son was kinda already turned. Besides Richter and him, no other Belmont had a loved one captured if I recall correctly unless you count Haunted Castle.

Richter was the last person to hold the whip until Julius though if that gives him value, but we have no idea why so.

That can't give him value due to it having happened because he tainted the whip. It wouldn't give him value anyway.

Ah, right, Soleyu Belmont. Definitely the weakest link here, since he actually got captured and turned by good ol' Dracula.

Also, Leon's girlfriend got snagged by Walter, and she ended up dead as a doornail. That's one below Richter and Chris.

Wait, what do you mean, "Tainted the Whip"? I sure hope you're not talking about the Morris family...

Oh right. Richter did something so that the Belmonts couldn't use the whip and then they disappeared so I guess that gives him less positive value. >.>
Touche on the rescue business though. Though Leon's the one who killed Sara, but it was to make the Vampire Killer so.

Obviously whatever he did wasn't permenant, since Julius got it back before 1999, and since Dracula was being pretty covert during Bram Stoker's novel it would make sence that the Belmont of the time might not have found out until after Harker and Morris him. That's only one scheduled return between the two Belmonts, so it could also be that the belmont at that time was just simply incompetant.

Or there's something else I don't really know about and I'm making myself look like an idiot.

Leon killed Sara, and it was to make the Vampire Killer, so it does not put him below.

Richter tainted the whip, so the Morris family had to use it until Julius came.

The timeline up on the site right now just says he retired and handed the whip off to the Morris family.

He's the first to use them, and the only one with the backflip if memory serves me right. But if you really want to go there, he's the only one who actually managed to prevent a loved one from getting turned. Yes, boys and girls, I'm talking about Annette.

Game wise, hes the first to use item crash. But Timeline wise, Trevor is the first to use Item Crash. In CoD he has Item Crash. So if you are going to bring that in. Please think on that first.

EDIT: I think I'm wrong there.... Leon might've had it too.

Yes, Richter didn't fail. He didn't allow his girl to get turned. Guess what? Trevor wasn't even involved when Syphawas turned into stone, and yet turned her back.

I can't say forsure, because its been a while, but I believe Trevor has the back flip in CoD too. Though I could be confusing my memory, since he does a forward flip when he jumps too.

If you want to judge awesomeness, how about Leon? The only Belmont that can use a whip, not to swing, but grab a horizontal bar, and somehow whip himself upwards without swinging at all. (I'm not a Leon fan btw, his story was so..... cliche and boring imo.)

I think it was actually Maria. In the hentai. :P

That was badly drawn btw, Maria was just not "Maria" in that, we allknow she looked much hotter than THAT!

You mean the completed outdated and flawed timeline that still has Legends in it?

pffft, item crash, big deal. even a little girl could do that, and could doublejump and slide way before richter stole those techniques from her. ;D

Hers wasn't Item Crash. And Richter never had a double jump. At least in SotN and RoB, anyway.

BTW, in the 1600's, Europeans were sailing ships to Europe. Conan Simon's armor would be severely outdated, and PSX and Judgement Simon wouldn't even fit in. Truthfully, Simon should probably have had armor closer to that of the Conquistadors, but oh well. (/Obligatory history fact)

I've always looked at his attire as the traditional belmont armor for battling drac. I think Ralph/trevor's, christopher's and simon's are all really the same suit of armor handed down from generation to generation.
