Lol...

I made that sprite myself. Looks like they've visited this forum sometime in the last few days.
That's kind of cool actually.

Yeah! The fact he picked up your pixel art for his LOS' Twitter can be seen as a sign of respect for the old school 'vanias. Now David, please give us bone pillars and medusa heads =DDD Maybe we need a series of pictures depicting pixel Gabriel in the middle of familiar Castlevania scenarios (making this way through the Clock Tower, for instance).

I actually like it, although I prefer CV64s vampires. Hell, at least were getting vampires! CV64 was the only other one.

Unlikely. Usually at this stage in development everything is planned and will be finished as is. There isn't any room to be adding things, especially if they're looking for a spring release.

Isn't the game planned to fall 2010? I think I read that in IGN, because Cox said: "We hope to have a playable demo at E3" and the E3 is at June if I'm not wrong, I think the game wil come out in august-October. That sucks, but the more time, the better :D

No, I am not Dave Cox.
I tried making an account about a year ago, but every time I sent myself the activation email, I'd just get either no email or a blank email. Something got fixed, and so I made my account. I've been lurking for awhile.

That being said, if he's going to use my Gabriel sprite, I should update it to look a bit more like Gabriel.

Also, yall gotta stop whining about "so long to elegant vampires." Clearly there are other vampires who are not monsters, Gabriel is a Belmont, Drac is practically conformed, so is the VK. Why are you still complaining??? There have been PLENTY of buff, monstrous, demon like bat beasts throughout Castlevania.
I agree with this. Nobody said there can't be BOTH elegant AND slave vampires. Look at Vampire Hunter D, where some bitten by vampires become more "savage slaves" to their masters, while the masters still remain very elegant and are considered the nobility of the world. If anything, as far as one would take modern vampire lore, vampire masters would have more control over their powers due to the hundreds of years used developing them, while recently turned vampires wouldn't have that kind of control.

Another example would be the Draculina monsters in OoE, which never showed their human forms. They were basically purple bat/demon who flew around trying to kill you.

Regarding the vampire picture, the only thing I don't like is the hair, but that might be to it being clumped together like dreadlocks. If the character ISN'T a rastaman(or Predator, hehe), I don't want them sporting dreads.  But if it's JUST clumped strands of hair, I could let it slide.

Play more CV.

What other Castlevania games had Vampires that were not bosses besides the N64 games? I have played nearly every single game in the series.

New screenshot looks great! I hope they will release something even better to the end of the year. :)

This vampire reminds me (and I see I'm not alone) of Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman, which isn't a bad thing actually. Every fan of Castlevania will find something familiar in this film.

Ho, ho, ho, and Merry Christmas MercurySteam! :)

Dun dun Dunnnnnn!!!

And yeah, there were some serious issues with accounts for the last few months (and probably earlier).  I'm in charge of accounts, and I would usually delete accounts that looked suspicious.   You probably got confirmed and the email messed up (common) or your attempts were blocked.

With the new Forum Template, a Captcha Script takes care of account activation and registration, so I don't have to look at accounts nearly as much... but I still think the mailer is wrong.  But at least new accounts are easy to set up again.

I have an account now, and that's all that matters.

Back on topic: the vampire reminds me of Man-Bat from Batman.

Oh, its been years I havent posted here.
That vampire looks like an Uruk-hai from Lord of the Rings with wings, but is still a good one. Thus, remember that Dracula himself show off his true form after defeating him in his "human" and elegant form, and often he is like some kind of gargoyle, but a much nicer one though.
This game was dated for April, am I right or I have missed a lot of news.
