Also, the environment in the werewolf shot looks stunning. That's what a damned forest level should look like!

Look at the picture man, they're all the same size and that wolf in the back is pouncing on Gabriel. If you look at the "smaller" wolf's hand its cut off by the wolf in the front.

i'd assumed it was a giant wolf from Simon's Quest given this games' inspirations from mainly the early Nintendo games.  but i guess its a warg (time to update Castlevania Wiki).  unless giant wolf = warg, have to look into that.

You know Cox saying the creatures may look very different made me think all the designs would differ greatly but looking at the SOTN Warg they were VERY faithful to the look down to the red eyes.

I didn't say they are unique I said they followed the look exactly from how it looked in the 2d game. The big head upper body the massive fur mane, and the glowing red eyes.
