Thanks Belmont. Juicy stuff! I love hearing about all those areas again and again. And 20 hours sounds just great. Cant wait for that trailer, and whatever music they show in the trailer as well..

Speaking of, check this out tonight! I am pumped for TFU2!

There are two jump buttons, one for short distance jumps, the other for long jumps

wtf? That sounds kinda odd... I hope it's implemented correctly.

That's been known for a while now. Why should he be involved in a non-canon game?

Do they think we are incapable of holding the jump button for as long as we want the jump to be? That's ridiculous.

Yeah, okay.
That's just a really stupid game design flaw.

that doesnt necessarily mean fixed jumps. one could be just like, the jump button, which is controllable, and the other like a Huge leap for big platforms. We wont know until its played just relax.

Guys watch the first trailer again, you'll see Gabriel doing a long jump after sprinting

Right. Everyone should calm down. Kudos to innovation..

Adding 2 jump buttons isn't innovative, just unnecessary. We'll see.

yeah sounds more like bad design or system implementation than innovation at this point

I don't know. Sometimes jumping could get trick if the area you jump to is a short distance, rather than a long distance. I don't mean "regular jump+pressing back" so you land closer than further. Don't know if they'd want to do the whole touch sensitivity where you gently tap the jump button and it enables you to "hop" to a close platform, or hold the button down to enable a nice leap. Though, you kinda wonder what the point of double jumping would be if you can double small jump, which might be about the length of one normal jump. Unless they only tack on the double jump feature to the normal/long jump button.

I'm also iffy on the two jump button, cuz I can't see why they would need two... but who knows, maybe they have a good explanation/reason.

What I don't get is... why do people want controllable jumps? And what do they/you mean by controllable jumps? If it's depending on how long you hold the button for distance, I agree with that, but if they mean, being able to move side to side during a jump... I think that's kind of stupid.

So some of you say that was a poor design flaw... have you played the game? know how does it feels? no?, ok

How can you say that?!  :o

Cuz they're using two buttons for an extremely similar action. One that could probably be done with holding a button down longer... which other companies have done with good success. I will reserve absolute judgment for release, but it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Wow, well the 2 jump buttons sure look hated on. I'm just not getting amped up yet. I think this team doing the game wouldn't do something like that unless it was for a cool reason.

But shit, I know the LoS team read this board, so maybe they'll take it out now. haha..
