I wanted to hear the classic death chime when Gabriel died.

Weird, I love everything else I've seen so far. It just seems like a random magical horse. I hope there is a logic to that.
I wish they'd just given Gabriel a real, normal horse, no need for magical talking horses! It takes away from the gritty feeling I got from the village scene.

Anyway, I still love where this game is going.

Remember that GamesTM interview said that Death is in the trailer? And that it's heavily redesigned? So I think, "The Lord" we saw wasn't Drac, but Death, at the end, he's the ultimate Gabriel's foe, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the same trailer. Otherwise they would have mentioned all the other characters.

I think its safe to say this now. To all the shit talkers that ran their mouths last year when this game debuted, I fucking told you this would be a true Castlevania game.

Anyway, horse gameplay looked stupid, but everything else is pretty solid... cept the grabs.

I was sold when the pics came out last week, so whatever. Good thing the trailers/gameplay didn't make me go back to thinking it isn't good. Glad for the combat, looks fun.

Oh yea, who ever was playing on that second vid was an idiot. Tutorial stage... do what the damn instruction says! Spent half the time trying to jump over the invisible wall.

Well, well. That was quite a look into the mechanics of the game.

Color me impressed. For all the stubborn doubting I did, I think I am finally coming around to this.

What I like about the combat here is, its long range. It actually looks like you're using a whip instead of a limp sword. It has some real range to it.

Now just to see some of this mentioned platforming and puzzles.

Gameplay looks very quick and fluid. I like how they have the block/duck/roll defensive moves back like in LoI and CoD. Those came in handy LOL. Also REALLY REALLY liking the game audio. The score and sound effects sound FANTASTIC.

I'm not expecting to see any additional stuff at the press conference in 7 hours, but I would like to hear Cox talk some more about the game. Also, IGA will probably be on stage demonstrating Harmony of Despair, lol.
I'm gonna watch it.

I just want to thank everyone for hunting down the vids and posting. I'm getting excited again for a CV.. it's been awhile. Everything is just fucking awesome, except the horse dealio, I agree..
