They should have just put the game on three disc's then for the 360 for all the content. However they're should be no excuse for the PS3 version since a blu ray disk can hold all of it just fine.

Not a good move Konami, not a good move.

it's there! not they're!

Anyway, no it's not a good move at all.

Well exuuuuuuuse me for not paying attention to the keyboard while eating breakfast.

I hope this DLC is worth it since the game is 20+ hour's longer than most games out now. If this game was a 6 hour game then I (and alot of other people) would have a big problem.

I don't mind buying DLC when it gives me something else to do, and not just to replay the game in a different costume. I agree it probably should be on the disc, but hopefully its worth it enough that people don't mind getting it.
What a horrible night to have a curse!

A few new screenshots

Sucks that there is no new footage of the game but the screens once again looks great.

New GamesCom Trailer. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-10-castlevania-lords/703132

It is an extended version of the E3 one.

Edit: Disregard, it is the exact same as shown at E3 as far as I can tell.

Good move, almost no one saw E3 trailer because all the Kinect and PS3 buzz, it's a right time for it to be re released, I've been reading some impressions and people think it's awesome :)

About DLC, I'm sure it will be some kind of spin-off/side story a la GTAIV DLC, very big, but not a direct continuation to gabriel's tale, think of it as a new "Joachim mode" but with some actually relevant story -- I hope---

Everything comes full circle

And suddenly it hit me, what if one of the DLC contains Zobek mode!

Think seperate way's from RE4 or GTA4 TBOGT with Zobek going through different locations and fighting different monsters while occasonally joining up with Gabriel.

More bullshit buying things that previous entries have already had included. I'd be pissed.

I assume it's going to be an extra level or two, like an additional boss rush or like OoE's "lost cave." Again, stuff that should already be included.

This game took years to make, so it's not like they don't have time to add it in, it's all planned to zap more money out of your wallet for things likely to have been included in older entries automatically.

That would be a problem...
If the game didin't already last 25 hours and it needs 2 discs for 360 so storage capacity is already too much, another disk for a "bonus" gamemode is uneccessarily expensive.

If Main story is 100% complete, I'm fine with it, if it's "Big" DLC as Cos said, I bet it will be released physically later on, just like GTAIV--- right?

Edit: My grammar sucks today more than ever sorry :P

I agree, as long as i feel as the main game was full and satisfying. I will be pissed to holy hell if it's not.

This one reminds me of Resident Evil IV, in a good way:

If I forgot "everything I knew about Castlevania" I certainly wouldn't be excited about a new one coming out now would I?

Hands down agree. It's got a very creepy vibe which works, considering this Castlevania.

They said the game is 20 hours, as long as the story is satisfying and concludes at the end of the game why are you crying if they're offering new stuff to do afterwards?

DLC has to be planned out before a game is launched anyway.  Not sure whether to be happy or worried that they already announced 2 big DLC packs, but hopefully they're separate adventures and not part of this story arc.
