Completely agreed with the screenshot of the old, battered farm. Something VERY eerie about it. Love the old busted up windmill in the background. That whole scene just screams Autumn to me---the perfect time to play any CV   ;D

It would be a good spot for it that's for sure. This locale is awesome!

DLC? Laaaaame

Announcing DLC before game is even out? Even more laaaaaaame

I guess this means Castlevania is now more than ever truly alongside the big boys of modern gaming, such as it is. But damn, do those new locales look gorgeous.

Love the fourth screenshot with the water. It looks amazing.  :)

That's exactly what Cox is trying to accomplish; to make Castlevania a mainstream franchise as it once was (according to him), meaning it will hopefully be on par with today's major console titles.

So, God Mask confirmed as part of the CE? I was right, woohoo!

But what about the Devil Mask?  :\

I knew they wouldn't miss an oppritunity like packaging the God Mask in the CE, Kojima even had a model of it at last years Gamescom.

Best thing would be if Cox said: "Ok, so we realized we had too many ideas and couldn't fit everything in just one game. So we decided to keep all the extra stuff but make it DLC instead of just trashing it."

That does sound like something they would do.

I hope this DLC thing doesn't end up working like it does in in Dragon Age. Ugh.

Those new screenshots are fantastic, no one can argue how gorgeous the visuals are for this game.

Also, beautiful crisp quality of the E3 build has finally surfaced. We get to see the map as well, reminds me of the NES games. :D

The atmosphere in this game is incredible, if they can keep that pace up for 20 more hours I'll be very pleased.

The demo keeps referring to the game as Gabriel's "tragic tale." I'm starting to think he ends up dieing in the end. That would be pretty lame, I was hoping Gabriel would start the Belmont Clan at the end of the game and his son/descendant would end up being the Trevor Belmont of the new timeline. :(

On topic about the DLC, I hope it's just extra stuff they couldn't fit in the game. Dracula better be in the retail version, that would be so stupid having to buy more stuff just to fight him.

So it seems we get a narrative between each level? I kinda like that. The old tome/map progress, etc is a nice touch.
