Of course it was, however "LOS is generic, where's my Yamane wah wah wah" comments are similar to those wise people waround the net who says: "Castlevania only got serious in SOTN because CV I was a disguised Indiana Jones with silly cliched monsters and bland 80's conan-esqe protagonist ugly as hell, oh and it was an unplayable mess because of those hell spikes I never could pass through durr durr durr it is shit durr durr long live Alucard hurr durr!!"
Seriously, they are as relevant as those.. it's substance over style guys, it's what CV has made through its long sweet existence,,, it has never invented the wheel, it just makes the most awesome gothic action horror adventure wheel at the time.

Well come on, it's not that bad to want Yamane instead. The original compositions we heard for LoS have been boring with all sorts of cliched chords and progression. Everyone is kinda hoping for remixes because of that. The composer of LoS even got called out for using orchestral sample melodies once (admittedly, it was his last.fm page).
And I never called the "disguised Indiana Jones with silly cliched monsters and bland 80's conan-esqe protagonist ugly as hell" concept an unplayable mess. I actually praised it. LOS isn't putting a spin on anything with most of its designs, and when it does it seems like an uninformed choice like making the Chupacabras... not Chupacabras. Only that coffin enemy has been a neat spin.

Take it easy, I'm not talking about anyone in this board, you drama queens  I was actually talking about some guy at "castlevania Spain" forums long ago, it was really shameful, but it sadly reflects sme people attitude... not in this forum, if we are here, we like Cv and its history behind, some times more than others obviously but that's completely subjective.
Yes, I also hope "more" from the music... it sounds epic and fits nice with the atmosphere showed until now... only that I DON'T WANT the full game to have that "ethereal pussy" atmosphere, Gabriel looks like "a macho" but by what has been said, he's even pussier than Alucard, and that doesn't help. I really like "emotional" storylnes however I don't want a Lost Odyssey that makes me cry for 35 hours, of course I want to shed two tear or three every one and then, however I want more "adventure" feeling and less "I'm really sad I'm going to kill anyone to prove it" one. However I admit I have only seen aproximately 30min of gameplay and some trailer scenes look exactly what i want to have so I'm just expectant, not concerned.

I hope he's in the game, but there is no gurantee he will be. We assume that Drac and some of the other classic bosses will be back (Death, Medusa, etc.) but who knows? I certainly hope Drac is in LoS, but I honestly won't be surprised if he's not.

It's confirmed that the Three Lords of Shadow, (Carmilla, Death and you know what blue satelite...) are the "Founder members of the Brotherhood" they found God's mask in a quest so, if "The Dark Lord" also has a brotherhood symbol he may be another "hidden" founder member.... OMG, I just remembered that Zobek's descendant from an ancient bloodline of the order... hummm... this is beggining to feel.....

Because it is 'their' holy order. It's no different then us having 'our' own holy order. It's all a point of view really. They worship darkness as we worship light. Even those crazy cultist would say that their beliefs are holy while ours are damned. See? It's all in the mind of the beholder.
