The mask was still around after she left so that can't be it.

I don't understand. Gabriel felt obligated to face the threat represented by the Forgotten One (given Laura's words about how it would basically wipe out everything), and the only way he could survive "other side" was by consuming Laura's blood. At that point, he was made aware that the blood would kill him if he didn't take it all, so he was forced to do just that and kill Laura in the process. Is that not "desperate" enough for you?

I was going to re-explain, but a few others did since your post. I was saying it wasn't presented in a DIRE enough way. It should have been more impactful. A moment like that deserves a quality cutscene, like the Ancient Fish Ones got, lol.

It's kinda just odd that something as important as Gabriel turning into a vampire is relegated to DLC in the first place.

That's the reason why we thought  that it gonna be a big dlc, like the GTA IV ones. Cox said they were planning two BIG DLC, but it ends being just a short normal DLC  :-\.

I hope Resurrection will be longer.

Also, why did they call the DLC Reverie? It isn't related to dreams at all; just wondering.

To me, that name fit. It was a reverie to going back to Laura, and going back to the Founder's of the Brotherhood.. remembering/revering the past..

Also had another idea: Gabriel is going to fight TFO in the PAST (as he used the Time Machine to get the founders' blood). So, if he manages to defeat TFO in the PAST, it will have drastic consequences on the PRESENT (LoS era/1047). So, everything may have not happened. What do you think about it?

Here's my take on it that I posted a page back:

According to one of the brotherhood scrolls, the time machine's power is temporary(you can see the hands on the clock winding down indicating that it wont last long) and only affects the surrounding area (mainly the portal tower) so they're still in they're present time. So by the time Gabriel defeats the forgotton One the tower will return in it's present state of being destroyed.

Not to mention he lost his wife and he feels like he fucked up the world, so he probably doesn't care to think twice about these sort of things anymore.

Gabe isn't here right now, but if you'd like to leave a message his buddy Eu Sunt Dracul will be happy to get back to you.

I completely agree with this, something this major should have been explained in the retail disc.

Any one know what the Frankenstein fingers are for? I got them all but nothing happens. Issue they're just for collecting and getting the trophy but if anyone knows if they do anything else that would be nice.
What a horrible night to have a curse!

They seem just to be items to collect in order to finish a trial.

(Or you can put fingers into TFO's ******* so you can save the world!)

In handy how?
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.
