Can anyone tell me why the Belmon'ts fight the creatures of the night yet? Cox promised LOS would answer this question.
The last DLC is out & i'm still only seeing a Dracula Origins story.

They said they were gonna do a lot of things maybe half way through they wanted to go a different route for the game but maybe in the next one we will see how that comes to be, also the absence of joachim I wouldn't mind seeing him as a vampiric rival to the new dracula, that could be interesting.

Would definitely be nice to see Joachim return. I was wondering about him just this morning.

considering how many characters Cox has been using from LOI I think its very likely we will see Joachim in some form or another appear in the next CVLOS sequel.

Although I fear that he will receive the same manner of a "revamp" that Olrox and Brauner received.

Odd no one else had trouble reading it, perhaps maybe you should take a step back I clearly stated those as my opinion and in no way lashed out at you other than the mario statement and if you are butt hurt about that then you have my deepest apologies I did not mean to insult your view on how it never once occured in the mario universe that mario was ever once bowser cause well lets face it, that would just be plain silly. Also RE4 changed the gameplay and not the story. NOW for a moment, now this may be a challenge for you but consider what Incubbus had to say not sure if you read it or not since you have trouble in that area

"Not for nothin', but 2D Mario and 3D Mario are two completely different animules. From what I've seen the new 3DS Mario is closer to the old 2D ones then all the previous ones. RE4, Ninja Gaiden, and PoP, are not that different from their predecessors. Most of these added innovative things that complimented the old. They didn't scrap everything and then build it mostly from scratch. And before anyone talks smack about Ninja Gaiden, remember that the NES games were actually Ninja Ryukenden, not NG".

Hope this helps.

I was simply attempting to point out that while you see differences contained within LoS so many and so vast as to make it undefinable as a Cv title, I do not. That's it. Period.

And seriously, where did I sound butt hurt? Because I mentioned that you should use paragraph breaks? It makes it things easier to read. Who doesn't know that? (perhaps it's time I get some glasses though)

Sorry for being sarcastic about it, but you might wanna try some of this.....

And what the heck is an animule?  Cv monster I'm unaware of? ;) :D

I prefer a new version of him not be THAT drastically different, but I doubt it'll end up even resembling his previous appearance if he is included.
Animule - ghettoized way of saying animal. Picked that up from my ex-wife. :P

No, honestly I'm not. But you obviously are. Since this is a pointless conversation, how about we just break it down to it's bare essentials.

I'll say LoS is a Cv game, and you can say it isn't, and we'll leave it at that.

Sound good? I'll go first....

LoS is most definitely a Cv game.  :o

Ok, now it's your turn, lol  :D

You were trying to compare RE4 a game that decided to change their game play to LoS which rebuilt castlevania from the ground up by changing the story, characters, etc etc which doesn't make much sense at all. RE4 kept Leon and his back story and ada and the previous events yes it was a different direction as far as gameplay is concerned but not story wise. Now if we were complaining about that then your little argument would have grounds but  we are stating that the story and the "atmosphere" was too different from Castlevania.

Now RE4's atmosphere was pretty much the same except you were in some back woods town not a mansion or a zombie infested city while LoS took you through some fnatasy like settings as well as some jungles and what not and only gave us a few chapters of the dark gloomy castle. I'm sorry there bud but comparing the two is a bad comparison.

and no actually im not, i didnt post any pics there to make this into a flame war and actually tried to break away from this conversation to address Joachim. So Im ending it now your RE4/LOS comparison is like comparing an apple to an orange.

and Castlevania Lords of Shadow is indeed a Castlevania game albeit a fantasy game retrofitted to be a Castlevania game.

Fascinating, simply fascinating! Simply enthralled I am good sir.  Please, please continue with your overly semantically nit-picking argument that completely fails to see the point.

Oh, is it my turn again. Alrighty, here goes....

:o :o :oLoS is most definitely a Cv game :o :o :o

Your up old chap, have a good go at it.
