The Castlevania HD in my head . . .

• Brand-spanking new full HD experience
• Ditch anime, reach out to the Xbox Live/Home generation (who're largely into the "realism" of first person shooters)
• Adopt approach similar to Shadow Complex, or introduce graphics a little like the new, upcoming Metroid game
• Take a risk (but not quite like this)! IMO, present the game in shades of black and white, monotone and dim with fog, shadow and burn effects: a little noir but gothic to the extreme--it'd be new, it'd stand out from the crowd.  Colour could even somehow play a part in the storyline or effects, IDK.
• As in last point, a new perspective on Castlevania, a modern take on it in some manner.  Freshen it up, move it on, look at these other HD games--they're fairly innovative.
• Introduce advanced animation, many would like to see a new combo system

The Castlevania HD we may be getting . . . ?  Konami for a while now to me seem to be two steps behind everyone else (even the likes of Lords of Shadow is well overdue).  They used to have imagination and set trends in the MSX/NES/SNES days, they really did.  If this six-player game is an attempt at some innovation, will it work??  In defence, and I'm no expert by any means, but budget, resources and raw capability could be an issue.

I had a dream last night where Harmony of Despair was a true sequel to Harmony of Dissonance, And Juste and Alucard were the main heroes. Juste had 6 different outfits, like as you equipped different armor the character sprite changed, and it looked all HD, it was sweet.

Well, I don't blame them. Everything I've seen so far, from the character select screen, to the actual font on the subtitle, looks absolutely fake. It's not what I'd expect from a respected company like Konami. I mean, they make terible games sometimes, but even Judgment looked legit from the get-go. There's just something fundamentally wrong with this game.

Also, WHY are all of these leaked screens in english? Even the Ecclesia leak had the Akumajo Dracula title screen. If this game is real I doubt that IGA has anything to with it.

(And I actually kinda think this game is real, but I'm still not 100% convinced because of the above mentioned stuff... It just feels so random..)

Hopefully, when this turns out not to be a  fake, this is just another side project.... maybe I´m overcompensating, but this strikes my heart with anger... and sadness =/

Perhaps a new fiend was able to bend "time & space" within the CV universe?
