I am just here, chilling, wasting my time. That's what's up.
I kinda wonder what the final areas in this game will look like. I hope they paste the final staircase from every Castlevania on top of each other.

LMFAO

Sad thing is, the way it's going already, that is somehow plausable. It would almost make it worth just seeing for the comedic factor.

I'm not convincing anyone, I'm just sharing my thoughts, and it's time well spent.
You on the other hand, are wasting your time lecturing me.   ;D

If that were truly the case, then you'd accept everyone else's opinions and not try to come up with redeemable factors for this game, to make anyone think otherwise of it. And unlike you, I'm willing accept to the opinions of the people who do wish to try this game out, because they want to see for themselves if it will be worth their time, or whatever other reasons they may have, as well the fact that they're not forcing everyone who's against it, to change their minds.

So, in short, your efforts of promoting this game like it's the next best thing, are pretty much wasted.

Could one be so blind as to believe that I'm "promoting" this game.  9_9 Completely misguided assumptions.   Keep believing that nonsense, but at least stay on topic about the game itself if you choose to post something here worthwhile. :P

Anyways,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsfLfLpY9-I&feature=fvw
1:29   The Hunters' Emporium sounds interesting!
Emporium means a large retail store. So I guess that is the Shop for Harmony of Despair.
There is Gold to collect in this game, so it will be interesting what kind of things players can buy compared to things they can only find in the castles themselves.   Maybe more things will be added for sale at
the store depending on player progress.  Possibly more bonus items could be unlocked after finishing the stages once.   :D

It's so great there will be a bestiary like the previous games.  It's fun to look over the enemies encountered. Since the game is designed with 6 players in mind and a new rebalanced set of stats and equipment, I wonder how different each enemy's stats will be like this time?  And they might possibly have bigger stats on the harder difficulty level.

Let's hope the harder difficulties are more like OoE or LoI rather than PoR and CoD. (;m; )

I was specifically mentioning the hard and crazy modes in those games. And I meant, how in CoD and PoR, the difficulty was mostly just ramped up by making the enemies HP tanks.

Way to make the game even less interesting.
They get rid of experience system (something, that I think must have been done many years ago) and give players ability to buy new things, instead of relying solely on the things that could be found in game. Considering that balancing never was a strong point in the last CV games, this feature will most likely allow access to some overpowered or useless weapon.

I just hope it won't be everyone choosing Alucard for every round, which will probably happen anyway.

Oh you had best count on it bro! Although, unfortunately, I will not be among them due to not owning an Xbox and other various issues I have with this game, which most are probably already aware of.

Well it sure is nice to know there is a form of currency and a beastiary in the game. I can't say I'm as exited as you are about it though. At least least they didn't cut back on the some of the very basics eh? :D :P :)

I'm interested in this.

Way to make the game even less interesting.
They get rid of experience system (something, that I think must have been done many years ago) and give players ability to buy new things, instead of relying solely on the things that could be found in game. Considering that balancing never was a strong point in the last CV games, this feature will most likely allow access to some overpowered or useless weapon.

the experience system Castlevanias had its overpowered and 'useless' weapons as well.
By eliminating the experience system, they actually made this game's difficulty more challenging much
longer before obtaining the best stats/performance the best equipment out there can offer.

Otherwise, a leveling system would just cause players to boost really fast to kill the difficulty,
and that really is no better than players discovering better equipment earlier than other players.
All equipment have a limit to how much of a stat boost it offers,  but raw level ups really makes
players lazier and sloppier since they have tons more raw HP/MP/stats to allow more room for error and spamming.

Level up bonuses combined with equipment bonuses, and multiply that with 6 player co-op,
and you risk a very unbalanced and easy game like SOTN and other level based CVs.

I'm not sure how hard the highest difficulty will be, but the game can preserve the difficulty much
better without a experience level system.

Also as for buying stuff compared to finding stuff,  it is very likely the best stuff won't be available in the
shop and can only be found.    A basic example would be SOTN.  It's shop has useful items and some equipment that may be better than what you may have found so far,  but some of the rarest stuff and things that can only be found in the castles themselves will naturally surpass anything the shop offers.

The shop is there to mostly provide some good stuff, but if players want better stuff they'll have to find it.   ;D

This may never happen again so cherish it while you can.

I actually agree with affinity. I personally like the way Lament approached the power up system. No levels, more about equipment and item/ability collection.

I was being serious :(

But, I agree, I don't want the difficulty to be the equivalent of one hit kills or enemies with a ton of HP that refuse to die.

I really hope there is some saucy boss battles with platforms disappearing, flame cones+homing [magic] missiles, spikes and knock backs into bigger spikes and teleportation with magma-bawls, o bawls of fire too. And plenty of contempt-filled Hahaha's! I want scythes that shoot out scythes that shoot out homing ghost skulls that shoot out an additional Death, while your party tries to keep balance on a rolling log filled with jumping Mermen and sometimes the Ferryman will drive by on a ski-boat and the wake will force everyone to jump and bounce off the heads of the depraved Mermen.

By everything you're posting, it seems like you're promoting this game to no end, but I digress. If you still want to go at it, then go ahead and be my guest.

Now on a more on-topic note, the art is pretty good, except for a few things, such as the facial expressions. I don't know, it feels strange seeing Ayami like this for some reason. It's like her art changed drastically or something, because it doesn't seem like her usual, but whatever. I guess that's just me. :\

Even IF they stacked all of the stairs in the history of Castlevania castle keep stairs, I don't think it would take as long as this:
