Topic: Most Annoying Enemy

There are several weak, yet annoying enemies that can make already difficult areas nearly impossible.  So, which is the most annoying?

I'd say flea man if it counted the ax fleaman... but then agina they dont' appear in the harder games,... cuz they would OWN you!

I never have a problem with Medusa Heads or Flea Men, but those damn crows are so unpredictable. No matter what game they always seem to piss me off!

they are all pretty damn annoying when it comes to those that simply knock you down and kill you. In Metroidvania games it's not as rampant... BUT, Medusa heads,the ones that can turn you to stone will make you suffer. Not only can you be hit at a bad time on a ledge, but you can fall onto a spiked pit, slowly loosing life while in stone... wildst more Medusa heads and other enemy's continue to attack you. Alas poor soul, for Medusa heads are devoid of any purpose in their existence other then ramming their heads into your vulnerable body repeatably.

My vote goes to Medusa heads, but I'd say the Skull heads from Castlevania III is the most annoying enemy, their flying pattern is just unpredictable.

God, so much annoyances to choose from... Ya know what? I can't choose just one of them so I'm going to say they are all annoying. Each enemy has a particular spot in any one of the stages they appear in that makes the game a pain in the @$$ for players.

Also, fleamen. Especially on stage 15 (iirc) of the original CV when they're the first things you see and they're ready to get you from the start.

The GOLD Medusa Heads.  It's one thing to be knocked down, but even worse that they can stone you and open up all kinds of additional abuse...  Truly the worst of the worst.
