I'd like both, however the only was CV could be good in 3D is actually Trying to go 3D, a lot of franchises had to experiment with the formula to achieve greatness (POP for example) and I think CV is a little late to the party, so, I'd like to see more 3D :)

Everything comes full circle

No absurd multi-combo like Devil May Cry

What? I love combo. Especially Leon's whip combos, If only Lords of Shadow had the same whip gameplay and sound effects like Lament of Innocence, it would be perfect.

Not quite. Leon's whip attacks in LoI were lacking in range attacks that would've been way more beneficial then relaying on short-ranged combo attacks all the time. Trevor had the same issues in CoD. The only 3D games to support a long ranged attack was the two 64 titles. That's what LoI and CoD were missing, powerful, long ranged attacks like in CV64.

Castlevania 64 was a shit game. The end.

Castlevania 64 doesn't exist. Megaman 64 exists. Super Mario 64 exists. But the name of the USA (and European) versions are...just Castlevania. Thank you. And it's the best entry for 3D for the series (my opinion of course, but I've got many friends who think the same).

Playing in Dracula's Castle in COD just made me threw up. I was ill during 1 week after having see all these long and stupid all-the-same corridors. What sacrilege to the saga.

PS : you're right, dear Administrator, I need to calm down. It's just...passion, I'm sure you can understand that.

I remember this guy a while back that kept saying "castlevania 4 doesn't exist. It's SUPER Castlevania IV that exists!" You're probably that same guy.

The box may say "Castlevania," but websites, this board, and all of the internet call it CV64. Why? Cuz that's the way it is. Sorry if that hurts your feelings in any way.

Only logical thing you've said thus far, on this forum is that CoD's castle sucks.

Sorry but no, I don't know who is this guy (but he's right, it's Super Castlevania IV and not castlevania 4). It doesn't make any debates because that's the way it is.

No problem Crisis, I'm not hurt. I understand your point of view, but honestly, who's right here ?
- What's written on boxes, manual, cartridges and what is Konami's will ?
- Or you and all these Internet guys, who sometimes know absolutely Nothing about Castlevania ?

It's not because "everyone" talks about Castlevania 64 that it prooves you're right. In the ancient times, Galilée said Earth was a cercle, not flat. Nobody trust him, and his was condamned to shut his mouth... but who was right ? Mass people don't always have "right" because they can all make the same mistake. And Internet means nothing. I often read and listen from "video games professional reporter" that Igarashi created Castlevania. They should verify their information, but who cares ? Many people then, say the same mistake they heard, and that's the way it works.

Only logical thing you've said thus far, on this forum is that CoD's castle sucks.
I'm happy you agree at least with something I said ! I have nothing to proove dear Crisis, so everyone can talks freely, even if their point of view is different from the general point of view we can read everywhere. If we respect each other, there's no problem at all.

Why are we arguing about such a stupid detail? People use Castlevania 64 to clear up the confusion on which Castlevania they're referring to. What, do you want us to refer to it as Castlevania for the Nintendo 64 or something? Might as well slam people for using abbreviations.

This is nitpicking way too far.
If you say "Castlevania 64" people will either assume you mean the N64 version, or "maybe" (in extreme context), the Commodore 64.
There's no need to get anal about it.

Castlevania for N64 is clear, simple, it's just 3 letters more and there's no confusion with everything. By the way, I didn't know the expression "get anal", thanks a lot !

Confusion? Are you kidding? No individual with a brain will get confused over the usage of the term CV64.

In this forum, we say CV64, or Castlevania64.
