No love for the SCIV version? That rendition took a basic and repetitive tune and nuanced the crap out of it.

Best version in the series.

I've been hoping any subsequent version would marry that and Rondo's extra parts to make it even better. Instead we're getting the same old repetitive mixes...

I too think Bloody Tears is pretty overrated. It's nowhere near my favorites, but it did sound great in SCIV.

Bloody Tears and Heart of Fire will be in the fan-remake, though Optomon has yet to upload those samples. Pretty sure Bloody Tears will be a rearrangement and not a direct sample from the original game.

bloody Tears from SCV4 was phenominal and I also loved the CV: Chronicles version whilst watching the athenian goddess statue bleed tears of blood.

I actually liked the techno remix of bloody tears from the Chronicles OST better than the one used in the game.

This is the best NES hack I have ever seen. So if it's available, will it be released as a rom or installation file?

Being a ROM hack it will most likely be released as a patch.

I'd wait for the finished product. Beta's are way too finicky and incomplete.

As long as this game is more coherent as far as clues are concerned than the original SQ, I'd love to give it a whack when its done.

Holy crap. Optomon sequenced the Trick Manor song from CV4 for this hack. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Also a link with an NSF. It has more original songs and remixes like Gears Go Awry, Heart of Fire, and Mad Forest. This hack is epic.
