Sorry, I meant that jacket. Though, now that you mention it, is the undershirt just one solid color? It looks to be; if it is, that surely needs a shade or two in there as well.

And for whatever reason, I absolutely love that there's a watch on his wrist. No clue why.

Alright, I fixed BOTH of those problems * . My orange shirt has 2 shades, but it didn't have enough contrast.
Here's the sheet:

* Also , the thing on my wrist is one of these:
(click to show/hide)
I put it there to seperate the hand from the wrist.

Another thing Drac, when's your birthday?

Alright, that gives me time...

Also, Jorge hasn't been on this thread in a while. Does he still sprite?

@ZeroSaberGreen
Nice whip animations, you should add more shades in your clothing, otherwise looking great.

@dracula9
That looks hard, but the results speak for itself and it looks substantial.

Thanks for the input guys. :)

Also, what have you been spriting lately Jorge?

I can't add any more shades to the clothing, as I already have 16 colors and that's 1 COLOR TOO MUCH ALREADY.

Here's one I just shared with Kaostantine in the Castlevania Chronicles - Dracula's Curse thread.
Maybe it'll help inspire people.  I don't know.  Maybe?

In theory, if I get her cloak animations done and her stair animations done, she can become a complete spritesheet.
^^I put this up only two pages ago...

And yes, if you're at 16, you're already pasts the point.  If you can't do the sprite in 15 colors, then lose the color.

Hmm... The hair highlight could be replaced with the skin color.
And Jorge, you said those were the ones that were going to be used for your CV3 remake, which is pretty dang old.

Does anybody have Serio's version of Hanz Belmont? Ref.
Two of those sprites are custom. Guess which ones?

Thanks. It is hard, but I enjoy a good challenge and, like you said, the payoff's definitely worth the effort.

I'm redoing all of Simon's movements with more colours, frames, and better proportions.
I got my first animation down. Credit to Rozul_the_Blue for the original whip sprites.

Almost there, woot!

Also, I need to know if the checker pattern fading up from his robe bottom blends alright with the cloth folds. I worked like mad to keep the folds consistent, but kept going back. Wanna know if I was just being paranoid or if it really was that bad.

Need to fix the shading on his rear hand, since it's almost invisible at 1:1.

Maybe those expert spriters might be able to spot if something's amiss, but for me, I don't see a problem.
