I play this game i think it will have to do with lords of shadows, they tell me is a game for celulars, but it sucks so much, the gameplay is the more lent and boring i see in one castlevania, its the worst castlevania of the history and i play it in a minutes, i dont know, a half a hour maybe, the music is anoying, the hero is a good try to be manly but the poeple drawed it sure was amateur, in the resumen, the game is a horrible game.
any one in the forum played it and what they people think?

of course i've played it, specifically bought a cell phone that would be able to play it (can't not play every Castlevania game after all).  i enjoyed it for what it was worth.  it got me through a few moments i would have been bored in otherwise.  there's not much you can do with a 9 key phone input and the limited processing power available at the time, and i was tickled to be able to play a CV title on a phone in the first place.

I played it, liked it, and still has it on my phone. But I don't play it anymore.

I also got both the mobile versions of the sorrow games, just for the sake of getting all vania games on my cell. But those are watered down editions of the actual game. The magic seals as keyboard presses... sigh...

Order of Shadow has nothing to do with Lords of Shadow. I've only played it once (via emulation) and couldn't really stand it the first ten minutes, so I never really played that title.

Oh I'm jealous, I haven't been able to play the mobile sorrow games (other than the DoS demo).  Don't think any phones in the US are allowed to play them (legally?).  I think I could try emulating them on my laptop, but it wouldn't be the same experience as on an actual phone (especially one that you're currently using and happen to have on you at all times when you find yourself with extra time on your hands away from home).  Guess I'm just morbidly curious to see how they rearranged things.

If your phone runs java games, then all these games will work.

I didn't have a phone capable of playing it by that time, so i've played it on a emulator, but for little.

I tried watching a play-through of it on YouTube. Had to skip over the intro by something like 3 or 4 minutes. Watched 30 seconds of gameplay and stabbed my eyes out on the corner of my desk to break the boredom. First game play-through I couldn't stand to watch.

I beat this game, its really boring but have some nice (or crazy) ideas. Like Crisaegrim being a sub-weapon and Desmond use alchemy to do magic.

I played the sorrow games and thought they were great versions for their time.

Everything comes full circle

Nope. Never played OoS. I never had a cellphone capable of running it. I never even watched a gameplay video of it, honestly. I don't know why I haven't seen anything of it yet. Maybe it's because this is the Castlevania game I tend to forget existed, lol.

So now I'm watching this: Castlevania: Order of Shadows Quick Play

Yeah. That just looks painful. At least their commentary is amusing enough. I give the guy credit for trying to play that game...but that looks...awful.  :-X

One thing I noticed is that I love how the help menu tells you to go play Dracula X Chronicles. Shameless advertising Konami, shameless advertising. However, playing Dracula X Chronicles is actually probably the best help you can get from the help menu in OoS. It's telling you what you REALLY should be playing instead of OoS, lol.

I know a site that has free java games that i can download to my phone via memory card. But as Lely said, your phone has to support java.
I would agree that emulating is a different experience.
The map for AoS is the same, the hidden areas are already there so you dont have to break walls. There are only 2 bosses. You can still get souls but i think it is harder to farm them. And you would soon lose interest in farming for souls hehehe.
