I bought a 360 because I could buy a cheaper version at the cost of some HD space. I would have gotten a ps3 otherwise. That said, Wii-U and PS4 for me this gen.

on kinect- didn't sony essentially hide its move by integrating it in the controller?

It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/125523-Xbox-One-Designed-With-Advertising-in-Mind Yeeeeaaaaaahhhh. So it's going to use voice recognition to tailor your ads, I assume this means if you sound like a kid you're gonna get Dora the Explorer ads, if you sound like a teen/20 something male it'll be military shooter ads all day everyday etc. Said ads are integrated into the dashboard in such a way that they're "part of the experience" you know, like in a free to play game except $60+.

In other news, Don Mattrick has apparently left Microsoft (which most likely is just PR lingo for getting the boot) for Zynga.

I was gonna post something, but it seems the author has already gotten his ass properly, thoroughly, and rightly reamed already.

XBOX ONE Fanboys Petitioning to Bring Back the Restrictions....WTF

This...defies all known logic that has ever existed in human memory. This is the same as a third world country willingly petitioning the return of a fascist dictator AFTER he'd already been thrown out due to his heinous crimes. Those fanboys have either deluded themselves, been brainwashed or Microshaft is paying them top dollar to do this. What ever happened to common sense? Oh! That's right... it was tossed out the window. I guess we should nominate the so-called XBOX 180 fanbase for the next Darwin awards.

Wow, fanboys are actually petitioning to get all the restrictions back? That's like sheep freely and happily dancing their way into a slaughterhouse. "C'mon! Let's all get butchered! Yay!!". I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but in all seriousness, people like THAT should disappear. They are setting progression back CONSIDERABLY. We strive for ways to move forward so that we all can benefit from various freedoms fight for(and attain). Freedoms that make our lives BETTER. I know there are some great examples I can give, but it would just prove to be offensive(even when I think of it, it offends me). It's just... urgh. Really makes me sick to the stomach that anybody could be so brainwashed so that they could happily give up their freedoms for restrictions. It's like saying, "Rule me! I trust you!", but NOT ONLY that, they want this for EVERYONE!  >:(
