To change the topic of some of the related threats in here where sometimes you can even sense some hostility i thought it will be good change the topic a little and share what we have found you can think it`s curious, funny, weird in the LOS games or some others if you want to. for example:

1-The Necromancer hiden in the curtains when your are about to get Trevor`s Combat Cross with Simon.

2- Trevor`s Coat set in some kind of altar were his Combat Cross is hiden.

3- In the LOS2 demo we know Gabula uses the classic: What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets. But you can also hear the Golden Paladin using Richter`s: Die monster, You don't belong in this world.

Feel free to post what you have found or if you are a mod and you don`t think this is an appropiate threat feel free to close it :P

P.D: Attached pics of # 1 & 2, not great quality but you can see what i`m talking about.

MoF and Castlevania Adventure have similar endings: castle crumbles with Belmont looking from a distance, and a bat is seen flying from the wreckage (both symbolizing Dracula in CVA and Alucard in MoF)

Also, Medusa Heads can be seen as part of the carousel segment of Simon's story in MoF

This ones are on the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow`s Facebook:

Are you ready for the best saga secrets for the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 title? Buckle up and prepare to learn more with the top 10 secrets of the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series, straight from Producer Dave Cox.

1.   The design of Gabriel's costume in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was based on the cover of the NES game “Simon’s Quest”.
2.   We considered various actors for the role of Dracula including Gerard Butler and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, both of whom have played Dracula.
3.   Mercury Engine 2 was designed for next gen systems and was built from scratch.
4.   Almost every single enemy and character has appeared in previous Castlevania games.
5.   The work of Guillermo Del Toro has been a big influence on the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series.
6.   Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 uses a combination of orchestral and electronic music. This was done to highlight the past and present aspects of the game.
7.   Zobek is an amalgamation of the Dark Priest Shaf and Death from earlier Castlevania games.
8.   In Dracula Curse for the NES, if players completed the game as Trevor Belmont, during the end cut scene Trevor married Sypha Belnades. In Mirror of Fate Trevor is married to Sypha Belnades.
9.   Hideo Kojima played the character of Chupacabras in the Japanese version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
10.   Hoko Kuwashima, Carmilla’s Japanese voice actress, also voiced Shanoa in Order of Ecclesia.

Thank God both the actors who were considered to be Gabriel didn't get chosen. Gerald Butler is mediocre actor and Johnthan Meyers is hack just see the abomination which is the Dracula TV show.
I did remember there was chicken in Mirror of Fate I thought that was nice easter egg.

The Ogre may have been inspired by Balore. Particularly when it's just his arm coming out of the tower, and the fact that you attack his eyes to defeat him.

Though it's not a highlight of the game, you CAN whip candelabras in the Vampire castle, and they drop sub weapon ammo, I think.

I'm sure we've had a thread like this before, but it's likely buried deep somewhere.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

The candles aren't a easter egg, they are just like any breakable objects in the game. They're inside the castle, they made sense there. In every other Castlevania you would get candles in places that did not make any sense, they were literally just part of the game design.

The wall meat that The Butcher uses to heal is more of a staple than the candles.

Ahhh the candles. Such a unique feature of classic Castlevania games. They have never been given a proper explanation. This is something Rise of Castlevania rectifies. :)

Zobek saying to Carmilla, "Poor Carmilla. You will cry bloody tears before this night is over."

An obvious reference to the track "Bloody Tears", but it's also interesting to note this was Carmilla's theme song in Castlevania Judgment.

Actually, they kinda have  ;)

WN: Last question. Why does Dracula keep putting meat inside the walls of his castle?

KI: You should ask, why do they eat it! I’ve thought about this stuff.
I’ve actually thought about the candles. The candles are people’s souls that were taken by Death or by the vampires. In Japan there are candles that represent life. So, when you release the souls from the candles by whipping them, they give you a "thank you" present. Thank-you hearts, or thank-you holy water.

The meat, I have no idea.

Interesting. I may be wrong but I don't recall that info ever being given in a game. It would have been nice to see that expanded on.

In our game, God illuminates the path of the chosen warrior with candles only visible to him. These floating candles keep the warrior on his path to destroy the vampire. They also contain aid to help the warrior along the way. If the warrior tracks off in the wrong direction, the candles fade.

In our game vlad Dracula has a deal with Death. He pays him with a vast amount of souls (his impalement victims) in exchange for the power to become a vampire 100 days after his mortal death. The decaying bodies of these poor souls will serve as Dracula's undead army upon his return to the world of the living.

It could also be a reference to her Simon`s Quest incarnation i think.

Not to mention that Simon gets a "fire bomb" weapon. That made me chuckle.

-Simon's starting weapon, Beast Hunter, being a nod to the classic CV Vampire Killer. Too bad you couldn't use it all the way.

-Gabriel telling the Forgotten One, "Enough talk! Have at you!" in the LOS DLC.

-One scroll in LOS referencing Lucasarts' Day of the Tentacle with, "Brother Bernard, Sister Laverne, I will avenge you." and is signed H.
