Basically copied from where I said it in the other thread...I think an end boss is not the type of thing I should start with, but if you still need a judge, and if it doesn't matter that I haven't designed my own sprites before, I'd be glad to judge this one.  I think I could be a fair judge...I love the "pixelated" style and I'm a quick learner if there are certain "specifics" or "details" I should know...but if those of you with more experience at spriting think it would be a bad idea, I don't really have grounds to argue I think.  But again, I'd be glad to do it, as well as look up anything those with experience feel I need to know to do the job.

EDIT: Shiroi, I just saw your comment here...if, by this, you mean I shouldn't judge either (because I'm not experienced) that's fine.  I don't mean to be nit-picky, but just say that directly so I know I'm not just reading something into your comment.  I won't be offended, I promise!  Otherwise, I'd still be glad/willing to be a judge.

I'll be adding both of your names on the list.
@theAndroid: judges dont need the experience. My comment pertains to people who would create the sprites.

Nice to have you aboard Android!

Give yourself some credit bro, technically anyone with any drop of artistic talent could judge a contest.

It's all subjective man!

Not bad Jop, Remember what I mentioned about dynamic posing in your entry in the last contest?

Look at how mythical creatures like Satyr or even Pan from LOS. Look at how they stand. Your sprite could benefit from that type of stance. It gives a sense of weight and it won't be just standing dead-on.

Also, I would add a character sprite for scale in relation to your creature.

OK, this is my entry:

This is Dracula final form in the 1999 battle, if the game were made by me: Dracula's Spirit. The TRUE boss here, though, is the Crimson Stone. The sprite is cut like that because this form is an entire level. But I kept the main sprite itself separate.

Read the whole concept (along with something else I did) here, at your own risk:

Yeah, seriously. I had a similar idea (in appearance, not backstory), so now I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.

Welp, contest over. gg no re. Good job everyone. :V

...Seriously though, is there anything that can top this? Wonder if Don's got something up his sleeve...
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.
