I will say that I thought Willem dafoe was great as Nosferatu. I would have loved to see him as Nosferatu in a serious remake of the film.

I thought it got pretty serious towards the end. I thought he was great. As far as comedy goes, Petyr from "What we do in the shadows" was the best thing in the movie.

Just got it in the redbox. I'll be checking it out today as well

And since it's a running theme in the thread:

RIP Leslie Nielsen  :'(

Well, the name of his Dracula movie was "Dead and Loving It" I think he'd appreciate the irony :) so don't feel too bad.

Just finished watching Untold. My wife and I loved it!

But I still wish someone would make a historically accurate dracula film!

I don't think the general masses are ready for bloodshed and political atrocities of that caliber.

I'd totally watch a historically-accurate Vlad III film though, make no mistake.

But given the unforgiving amounts of gore and perversion (if we're going for accuracy Mehmed wasn't the best caregiver...), it'd have to tiptoe around to get made, let alone handed off to a good crew.

Personally I'd get the crew of John Carpenter's The Thing to regroup and do it.
