As discussed, an off balance of evil this big should definitely wake him. If it doesn't it's just stupid.

I've got some bad news for you. I've read on wikipedia that Tetsuya Nomura (the character designer)was asked to create a female version of Cloud and he described her as "not verey femine". I'm afraid we've got another whiney protagonist. I think that is awesome though

Gotta say, I'm really excited about OoE. I loved DoS and PoR, and although complaints made about them are (usually) legit, I still found them to be very entertaining games. It looks like there'll be nothing but improvement in OoE, although I'm not quite sold on the Glyph system, but maybe that's because I don't quite get how it's used... I should read that IGN article again.

I like the art style a lot, but I hope some of these stolen background sprites are changed...

Yeah not only does it reuse POR's chapel and city arches, it reuses them in a different pic of OoE, just in a

They did say that the team is working extra hours to get all of that stuff in, so it's possible the levels won't be so bad...

But I get your point. Quality > quantity.

 Why?

I think it doesn't because he (IGA) can easily put them in the story. If he could connect Bloodlines with the other games why couldn't he also do that with CotM? Nothing in that game conflicts with IGA's canon.

The games involving Baldwin/Schneiders are STAND-ALONE stories, meaning they don't contribute to the main story arc. This isn't the first time this has happened, there are a few Metal Gear Solid games that are considered stand-alone as well. And there are a lot of other game series that have used this idea.

So it's okay for other companies to do that, but for cv it's automatically OMG IGA SUXX HE RUINED CV. Get over yourself.

I never said IGA ruined the timeline. I actually think he's doing a pretty good job at tying up the loose ends. I only think that removing games from the timeline is stupid. Your right that CotM is a stand-alone title but the 64 games are not. Because if they where non-canon you could also consider Bloodlines and PoR as non-canon because the Belmonts make no appearance.(not counting the Richter cameo as the whip's memory)If these games don't conflict with canon (like Legends)just leave them alone. You could also say it's a game so who cares? But I'm just obsessed with castlevania so don't mind me.  :P
