my guess is, the guy on the right is Albus or whatever his name was, the guy from one of the leaked shots. the old guy is most likely whatshisname, the guy who controls the whole order. the rest obvious since they're chanoix and dracula.

edit: seeing some new info that surfaced i'm pretty sure it's him.

damn and I was hoping they were getting away from the whole leveling up thing and werer going for an oldschool feel again. Everything leaked so far looks awesome though, I just wish we could get something different than action RPG's, I'm really starting to get my fill with all the previous titles.

The new art is fantastic, but what bothers me is the conflicting qualities in those screenshots... some areas look FANTASTIC but others look drab. I hope more of the game bears the look of the former.

I agree...most of the screenshots look pretty amazing, but the clocktower for example just looks like something out of SNES Dracula X..

Wow that transylvania map is awesome, I'd like a simon's quest style return for a long time and its finally arrived.

That's exactly what i thought. That map and the side quests with the villagers rescuing is similar to Simons Quest!

The rescuing thing is more like Henry's quest in Legacy of Darkness. But, of course it's just the quest system in disguise.

You might even say it's like Metal Slug...

Map does look cool.

From what i have notice on the map, you uncover stages (notice the forest icon on map having a new beneath it). So does that mean that it will not be linear and that you'll have to find all stages? If yes, then imo it is similar to simons quest!

It's more like LOI, I think.

The map acts as a hub, and you merely pick your level. Then, like the portrait levels of PoR, it's a self-enclosed opend ended stage.

So... yeah kinda like Bloodlines stages but open ended.

Finally!;D I just LOVE the art, this has to be a good one. ( maybe all of the complaints about DOS and POR got their attention) I can't wait to play this. I just hope they are going to take another 6 months at least to finish this so that when this comes out it's going to be huge in size, strategic in gameplay, detailed in art and intensive on combat
