Seems like there's a lot of near-pointless channels on the Wii.

Some new screens. Things are certainly looking polished! How long has this game been in development now?

Those zombies are looking pretty new and original.

Those screenshots make me prunyuu in my pants!

Unfortunately the maps still look quite small

The zombies look like the ones from SotN, in the reverse castle in Olrox Quarters (the ones where you slice 'em in half & their torsos float)

I will hate the forest level.

The zombies aren't from Olrox Quarters. They're fatter and purple and black not teal and purple.

Village looks interesting.

Yea, I agree those maps do look very small. Hopefully they do not individually represent one of the 20 locations. Maybe they are like sub sections for each area, although knowing IGA, I kind of doubt it.

Those maps may seem small, but who says that those are the complete maps?  And yes they could be sub-sections.  There may also be some hidden areas separate from the others.

I love the little drawings on the village map.  Looks like you can turn on or off the traditional map overlay.  I hope they have little diagrams for more than just the towns, but doubt it.  Maybe you can "zoom in" to a pictured map on normal levels?

so, no fall down+die death after all.

it looks like the pork one where the character just flew up without even leaning back. :(

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was disappointed too, I was looking forward to the fall down+die animation because it reminded me of the old-school games, where your character would just slump to the ground and that music would play. I miss those days...ah, nostalgia. n_n

Agreed, although for a forest area you can't really think much more of it. :p

I support the better animation required cause.

I mean not only the background, but also the minimap. It's just a straight horizontal line.

it's possible it's an area that connects the base to the village.

maybe.

then again, there's the whole deal with the world map.
