HIYA!

It has been a while. Sorry I have been working on another project of mine, my first commercial game.

Just wanted to make a quick update that I'm still working on this like for the last... 13-15 years... WOW time goes fast.

For next update I intend to finish all outside areas and maybe one manor.

The new version uses older engine so it might not be compatible with older saves. The new engine had some collision issues.

*I think Dracula X is underrated and a great companion piece to Rondo. Like a second quest or DLC.

It's better. Anyone who hasn't completed Dracula X(X) on the hardest mode isn't a real Wicca

Does anyone have the "Thousand Dagger" Sound Effect from Rondo or Dracula X after Richter does his Dagger Crush?

If this really marks the Castlevania IP is able to open the gate of Hell again, I wouldn't be too disturbed to expect a Castlevania IP take from Team Ladybug (Touhou Luna Nights, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth, Blade Chimera, Pharaoh Rebirth, ...) or Bombservice (Momodora Series, ...) It's mostly just my nothing burger but I wanna see how they could deal with if one of the two particular teams somehow received fund in the same tier of Konami IP's treatment.

I'd give my left nut to have the Blasphemous devs do a Castlevania game, those guys are pixel art GODS.

I wouldn't be mad at that. Blasphemous was a good game with one nitpick from me: thebacktracking kind of got tedious after a while. Just the way they did maps made traversing feel like a slog sometimes.

But they did a great job on Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. That game was super fun.

Thats a legitimate concern, but according to these guys:

Ms. Rouzie has worked on stuff like A Plague Tale: Requiem and Assassin's Creed, so she's not a tyro. I suppose I may be too optimistic--blame that on purifyweirdsoul's influence, if anyone here knows him--but I'm more worried about the artstyle than the story. Still, if it's castlevania even I can stomach Dead Cells artstyle...~_~

After a quick look it looks like A Plague Tale has

Basically we're in for some major Netflix vibes xD how wonderful and original.
So I guess the Chanoine of Notre Dame wrote that letter to lure Trevor and his daughter into a trap. Gone are the days where we had normal cultists trying to revive Dracula...

Does anyone know what her previous works look like?

Open structure + 25 characters + subquests + branching dialogues seems like they are being a little too ambitious for the studio's first metroidvania...
