100K isn't exactly bad, y'know. Its not fantastic, but its not a flop

It's a flop considering it's Castlevania.

Point. But in terms of general game sales, its decent

I would call it a critical flop more than a commercial flop.  I don't think they were expecting a blockbuster, and it might fare better in Japan.  But from the critic's standpoint it definitely bombed.

Critics are very silly, though.  And they can be terribly biased.  I go by actual people playing the thing.  And, considering I can get an online match within 30 seconds of seeking one on evenings, the game is being played, which means there's an audience out there playing it.

It's really not a bad game.  And, Castlevania generally does not sell a truckload, compared to, say, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear, Halo, or Final Fantasy.

Plus, there are plenty of great games that just don't sell well (like No More Heroes).

I agree, I think part of the reason it was a critical flop was because the critics were biased against it from the start, so they went into it already with negative opinions on it before playing it.  I think its far from a perfect game, and its not necessarily the direction I'd like to see the series going, but I think its better than the critics consensus would have you believe.

I'll admit, flaws and all, my friends and I are having a great time playing it. Grant has become my boyfriends favorite character in the Castlevania franchise now. (I really do love the personality they gave him myself. It's about what I'd imagined, considering there had to be that 'funny guy' in the quartet.) It may not be SF4...hell, we probably won't look at it for months once SF4 comes out...but for now, it's keeping us busy. To say they probably didn't put a lot of effort into this game (cause IGA seriously seemed like he could have cared less about it), it came out pretty decent. I even like...maybe three...of the designs for the characters.  Maybe four if you push.

I like this game a lot. But I have issue  with lag online. I got full bars for my Wii so I don't think it's my end. Oh well

The lag does not (completely) depend on your four Wii bars (which connect to your Router), but rather on other people's connections.

For example, I've a friend with a stable good connection, and there's relatively no lag when I play against him.  However, I've another friend who's on a bad wireless Campus network, and when I play against her, the lag is so unbearable that it actually kicks us both off of the Nintendo WiFi connection.  It's not my fault, it's her network's.

Sometimes it's a combination of the two.

Well my review site didn't get a reply back from Konami as my request to review Judgment.  Guess they got tired of all the bad press.  It'd also be a pretty damn late review now.

Forgetting that horrible thing upside.
What about the official soundtrack? God, It's more difficult to get than the very game in the internet!

Everything comes full circle

I'm wondering about the soundtrack as well. Any kind of exclusive music found there?
