until Iga decided to make Lisa and Alucard so young.
well, lisa is iga's creation, so he could make her as young as he wanted to.

alucard's and dracula's ages were hinted at in earlier games. cv3 was going with al being a teenager. if he's a teenager in a game that happens 26 years after legends, how can he be an adult back then? :o

still teenage years. alucard had to be born some time, and his mother's death was what made dracula go batshit. she died young few years before cv3+drac's assault and alucard was probably still a kid back then (so that he couldn't save her, he simply had no power to do that yet), so obviously alucard was very young during cv3.

he shouldn't have appeared in legends at all. ;D

not to mention dracula shouldn't have been the final boss of legends either. he wasn't supposed to be fighting the belmonts (and especially be defeated by them) until trevor came along and killed him for the first time, ending his long life.

The Dracula thing is easily explainable.  He could have just faked his death like in Adventure.  It's lame, but he did it once already, and this way Trevor is still the first to kill him.

The age thing is an easy fix also.  Have Alucard born in 1432, that would make him 18 in Legends.  This way, when he goes into hibernation until CV3, he still has that teenager mentality Iga wants him to have and it would still make him about 400 years old like SotN says.

Then there's Lisa.  Let's say she was 18 when she had Alucard and she dies when she's 30.  That would put her birth at 1414 and her death at 1444.  When Dracula finds out she died he curses humanity and declares war.

1414 -Lisa is born.
1432 -Alucard is born to Lisa(18) and Dracula(370).
1433 -Sonia Belmont is born.
1444 -Lisa(30) is condemned to death as a witch.
1450 -CV Legends: Sonia(17), with the help of Alucard(18), defeats Dracula(388).  Dracula escapes.  Alucard goes into hibernation.
1476 -CV3 Dracula's Curse

It's not perfect, but it's workable and I think it's better than saying all the games fit in somehow except this one.

No, in mine his war on humanity starts after Lisa's death but before Legends, which at most is also six years.

Julius because he was the latest belmont lost most of his powers and had a teleport move in AOS (Akuma's Ashura Senkuu) and he had a remix of Heart of Fire however you can't truly judge him until the CV game set in 1999 takes place.

and he had a remix of Heart of Fire
Which is totally much better than something completely original. That's always been something that bothered me. Julius is the only Belmont with a remix as a theme, which is pretty lame. A good remix, but still.

That's always been an issue with what is otherwise a very solid and original Belmont warrior. I tend to hold out hope though for our favorite old-timer. While I never felt that any of the other themes in Aria really suited him (the Phantom Palace cue to me felt perfectly suited for Yoko while "Holy Cross Obsessed by the Moon" always seemed to harken to Genya/Alucard), I do feel "Pitch Black Intrusion" from DoS suited his persona even if it did get replaced in his game mode. I dunno, I suppose it just lends itself to him thematically now that in Dawn he came back fully into his own as a hunter. Still, there may yet be a chance for the J-Man to revel in his own signature theme. You never know.

*snickers* Dracula "chilling," as you so quaintly put it, is always great for a laugh.

No, not a fanfic.  Just an example of how easy it would have been for Iga to create a complete timeline.

Serio dismisses anything alternate as "Fanfic" and to him Fanfic = bad.  He'll associate anything that could be plausable but has the smallest kink in it, as a glaring flaw.

He also dismisses anything remotely Japanese-oriented as "Animu bullshit" and to him that is bad too.

He's a Castlevania perfectionist.  It's quite admirable, as it's certainly a daunting task... but on this forum, it's becoming a bit irritating.

Basically if you disagree with him on anything you're wrong.

Also, you're not allowed to like PoR and announce so publicly.  He WILL find a way to let you know how much he disagrees with your opinion, in multiple threads if necessary.

Serio, please understand that your overbearing attitude regarding your opinions does not really help friendly discussion.  I hate to point it out time and again, but I feel I must.

The reality is that any of the ideas mentioned 'could' work.  They would not work perfectly but they could work adequately enough.  There have certainly been more wild ideas in the CV universe and we have accepted them.  This isn't any different.
