Got bored and put this together for the hell of it, to track the progress of this game with reviewers as of today.

If these were on metacritic right now that would be about an 88/100 right there.

Also, GAF finally opened their official thread.

The Grandma Review also gave it a score of 9/10, & FunkyZeit Gamer Boyz gave it 4½ stars out of 5  :D

Personally I'm waiting for Über Game Kings Actun's score, they're the most influential.

Those are both better than what Rolo Tony Brown Town gave it.

Sooo has anyone else noticed how there is less than 2 weeks until the EU launch and still nowhere to pre-order the EU Limited Edition?

 :-\

At first I could deal with it, but now I'm getting impatient. Do you think it will even be available before the release date?

I've managed to gather some leads pertaining to the EU LE. It seems that some EU stores are in fact accepting preorders for it (Gamestation & GAME), but from what I hear GAME is very unreliable, moreso than Gamestop. Apparently Konami has yet to give the OK for most stores to sell it. And some people think that it's an in-store exclusive (meaning no-can-do for online customers). However I posted that link for the Italian Gamestop that's taking preorders for it, so.. A lot of conflicting reports. Most likely Konami will release it AFTER it's Oct. 8th launch, which makes no sense & is very ass-backwards. Konami really screwed up the promotion for this game.

Dave already confirmed the PAL LE is delayed until after the release. You should probably import it if you really want that LE, otherwise just go with the regular.

Well now I don't know what to do  :P

Wait for the fantastic looking LE
or
Get the standard edition on launch day?

Hmm, I think I'll go with the former as I doubt that the LE will be much later than the standard.

You can rent the standard edition first, then buy the LE whenever it's available.

A quick question, if I play it on a PS3 get to a certain point and collect several trophies, will all that data be saved when I get my own copy?

If the one you rent is PS3 also, then yes.
The disc is the same, in terms of the data stored within.

do magazines always receive games before websites? I've searched in Gamerankings.com and Gamespot but haven't found any reviews or ratings. where do people get these reviews from?

Review copies are sent out weeks prior to release, and that's usually how games end up getting leaked.
