I respect your opinion but saying LoS is not beautiful or visual striking is almost trolling

The game looks pretty cool, but even games with bad visuals like Lost Odyssey are more beautiful, it has a far more intersting art direction and character desing, even a lot of wii games look better imo.  LOS is still pretty stunning, I think the problem is that the game is just so generic.

I wish there was a no-enemies mode or something. The environments are what I like about the game the most, and it's awful that I'm forced to focus on badly-realized combat the majority of the time. None of the enemies are interesting to look at, either. GOBLINS

You know that part in the very beginning of the Dead Bog, where Gabriel stands in a narrow crevice, surrounded by painstakingly rendered wrapping roots and swamp filth? The game is silent, and the camera employs a subtle swaying effect, as if breathing along with the dense surrounding growth. That's the best part in the whole game. I kind of wish it didn't exist, so I wouldn't have to wallow about missed opportunities and whatnot.

Afterwards, Gabriel proceeds to throw grenades at goblin tents. auguaghashghaghas

hate to speak out of turn, but i wonder if the forgotten one's battle might be more like the Ogre's battle than a titan battle.  that ogre battle did remind me of tfo in loi the first time i played it.

That's what I would prefer.  In a way, the Orge battle was a titan fight only different.  The difference is that you didn't climb all over the boss.  It's also the way I believe boss battles against oversized enemies should be.  Either that, or like Malphas in which you hurled something at the boss to damage it and possibly stun it.  At which point, you would run up to it and attack it directly.  I find those type of battles a lot more entertaining than climbing all over the boss, which I really hate.

I'm curious of know how Gabriel will succed to kill TFO.Didn't Laura told he is impossible to kill? Both three (almost) LoS have imprisoned him at best,so how Gabe try menage this?maybe the combat cross is so powerful to kill a demon that can destroy the entire earth? I hope MS don't screw the story too much.

I don't know, but I would venture the guess that MS is establishing TFO as some central plot element to the rise of the Dark Keep into its future state as Castlevania.  So all in all, I think it comes down to what role MS has relegated TFO to in this continuity.  Is it the source of the chaos within the castle?  Or is it just some big bad demon that they are grooming us to kill......just 'cuz?  If it's the former, we may see Gabe reach an alliance/truce/compromise with the demon.  If it's the latter, he'll probably finish it off big Belmonty style.  I'm hoping for the former, as that better adds to the dark mystique surrounding Gabe as he spirals downward more and more towards becoming YOU KNOW WHO.  If he knocks off the big bad demon definitively....then he had better get something for it.  And it better be GOOD. 8)

Perhaps both of your solutions combined are true? What if the ability to control and turn the castle into what we know as the Castlevania will come from Gabe defeating then absorbing it's powers.

That's what I've been thinking to, maybe he absorbes the power of TFO like he did the Black Knight and the two Lords, plus the vampire powers, thus becoming the strongest entity on Earth, big daddy D.

I agree, that's where i see this headed.  but also in my mind, i'm thinking maybe they want us to think that's where this is headed, and then pull a fast "oh my god" and he turns into a truly evil bastard, for a while at least.

So...has Cox said anything about Resurrection? Following the trend of Reverie, the target window for the release has already been missed.

But maybe that's just me.
It's confirmed by cox that he didn't go into hiding 1000 years, we saw a just Resurrected Dracula at the epilogue (Yeah I know he only said he hadn't "fed" in 100 years and that he had seen better times but YOU know what that means).
But I can' argue with the notion that the epilogue showed him too pussy for my tastes

I just heard that the release date is now in July 2011.  Don't know how reliable this info is though.
