Oh yeah baby. COX said couple months ago that Resurrection was due on schedule even during that Reverie/360 fiasco. So what happen? What will happened?

I'm predicting Resurrection will come out either the day of or around the time of their upcoming press conference.

Might as well just offically re announce Castlevania Resurrection at E3 and release it in August, at least that it SHOULD be ready by then given all the time they have to make it.

They didn't even state when it would have been out in April before the outage, so I think he's just bullshitting to explain the delay for yet another one of Lords' DLC chapters.

Yeah, the only means of purchasing and downloading Resurrection (PSN) being hacked, taken down, hopefully being reworked so that it doesn't happen again, the logistical nightmare of dealing with the aftermath of personal information for tens of millions of users being compromised, and all the while Sony Executives dragging their feet in dealing with the PR situations; this won't affect Resurrection's release date at all.

That being said, I agree with you: MS was probably behind schedule in developing Resurrection regardless.

If it's because of PSN, then why isn't it out on 360? Reverie was out on PSN for weeks before the 360. They could've made up to 360 owners this time around. There's no reason to make 360 owners suffer over Sony's stupid 'mistake'. Why did he wait this long to tell anyone why Resurrection wasn't out? Doesn't make much sense to me.

This is a little different though. From the way it sounded the reason reverie wasn't up on 360 right away is cause it had problems the day of it's release. They didnt know there would be any thing wrong with it that day. This time however, they know there's a problem ahead of the resurrection release and that's probably why there going to wait
What a horrible night to have a curse!

Probably an excuse for being behind schedule, but i'd rather wait for it to be done right.

Who knows.  What I want to know is: what it does, where it came from, and how zobek got it.  LoS doesn't mention anything about it other than zobek used it to manipulate gabriel.  What other powers does it have?  It's something that should have been explained better.

I too am curious about this.

Anyone else notice that Gabriel was holding the Devil Mask during the beginning of the opening cinema for Reverie?

Im pretty sure Satan gave it to him.

I mean come on. The GOD mask comes from heaven, so it only stands to reason that the Devil mask comes from hell.

Zobek was wandering around hell searching for power when he found Lucifer. The mask was likely just part of the whole deal. It likely increases Zobek's power.

It probably allows Zobek to manipulate people through it because it is a dark artifact. He places it over their face and voila, instant puppet.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

I'm sure the Devil Mask will help Gabriel to become the super powerful Dracula. I think he got vampire powers from Laura, but all his mighty magic and stuff will come from the Mask.

I will be very sad if a future Gabeula fight doesn't have him A) wearing a classy aristocratic suit/cape, and B) wearing the Devil Mask. That look alone would make up for all his emo in the Epilogue.

I would trade the aristrocratic suit for an aristocratic armor but it's ok I'm sure we'll see him as an elegant ruler  of the night

There's an amazing bit of Dracula fanart I found that merges his muscle-armor from the Francis Ford Coppola movie, his Bat-cape from DXC, and his traditional Dracula Tunic all in one. It's quite impressive and looks badass yet unique.

No. Gabriel is not yet Dracula. He is still Gabriel Belmont at this stage.
