"It's rare for a game to overwhelm me, but that's exactly what Lords of Shadow has done. Two hours in, I know I've barely scratched the surface. Lords of Shadow is the 3D Castlevania game we've all been waiting for."

"My concern grew as the narrator explained how Gabriel arrived at that village. His wife, Marie, had been murdered by an evil spirit -- and he was on a quest to get revenge. Wait, didn't we already play this game? Wasn't it called Dante's Inferno?"
oh no having generic plots is copying dante's inferno now

"Thankfully, it doesn't take much longer for the game to unveil its depth. After a few more action-packed set pieces, the gears drastically shift. Gabriel visits a swamp, filled with branching paths and hidden areas. "

Why don't you share the sentence directly after that one and stop trying to misrepresent there impressions.

Looks like us 360 owners don't have to worry about disc swaps (taken from joystiq)

Quote
If you haven't heard, the Xbox 360 version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will ship on two discs (Limited Edition pictured above). Here's a tip: You can save yourself some precious disc-swapping time if you install at least Disc One to your hard drive.

Although Lords of Shadow's story is told in an episodic, linear fashion, you'll want to revisit earlier levels to find missing collectibles and beat any additional challenges. Without installing, you'll have to swap discs every time you want to revisit earlier levels. However, if you've installed the data, you won't ever have to swap discs again; you'll be able to continue playing with just Disc Two in the drive. It's an interesting way of overcoming the DVD format's size limitation -- a clever trick that could be employed by future multi-disc releases.

Also, final collector's boxart?

Because that has little relation to the point I'm trying to mock in the preview, which is more the writer's flaw than the game's.

@Collector's Edition
I would've preferred a blue sky for the PS3, and green for the 360.

Gamestop has updated that to their collectors edition pages, so I guess that's ~official~.  I guess cox wasn't lying about the old box art not being final on twitter.

Not sure which I like better though

This sealed the deal for me, I trust Joystiq more than any review site out there. I honestly cannot recall a time they have ever been wrong. My hype is at it's maximum, HURRY UP OCTOBER.

It was a direct continuation of the same thought.
