It's sad, but I'm still on the fence this close to release. I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting a copy of LOS, but I'm not sure I'll be doing it soon. But who knows, all the hype and excitement of a new 3D Castlevania might sweep me away and I'll end up owning it before October ends. Hard to tell right now.

Coud there be an issue manufacturing the masks . . . it's getting to be touch and go now.  Penty of gamers seem to be shrugging shoulders now and plumping for the normal edition.

Oddly enough, one swedish webshop is now taking pre-orders for the american LE. Still no words on the european LE though. What's going on??

I've been thinking about the Mask --supposedly there are 2 masks...  The God Mask and the Devil Mask.  In the trailer we see Gabriel assembling the God Mask --each piece presumably taken from defeated Lords of Shadow.  Later we see an *ominous robed character* holding the God Mask while taunting Gabriel --this character's face clearly resembles the Devil Mask...  And then at the end of the trailer we see Gabriel wearing the Devil Mask.  A voice over during the trailer states that whoever wears the *god?* mask can do anything --bring back the dead --rule the world --destroy the universe --challenge God himself...  What then does the Devil Mask do?  Any theories about what this all means?

I kinda have the feeling that the shot of Gabriel wearing the Devil Mask may be a Doppelganger. Just a thought...
