ugh, when are they going to put LoD/C64 on virtual console?  it was a real bother getting all my stuff working and dealing with cartridges, a system, and controllers that are really too old to play reliably.  anyways, i think its best to play Legacy of Darkness first, and then Castlevania 64 if you're curious about Castlevania history.

ha, i did decide to break down and get an XBox 360 so I could play some Harmony of Despair before Lords of Shadows came out.  but the stores I checked were out of XBoxes.  now the itch to get the game has passed and i'll be able to wait a year to see if they announce a PS3 version.

I don't see CV64 & LoD being put on the Virtual Console anytime soon.. Konami is stingy like that. We're still waiting for Bloodlines, aren't we?

I played a 10-15 minutes of Legacy of Darkness...and...do people actually like this? or am I doing something wrong? cause the camera sucks ***.
I know it's too soon to judge but the gameplay so far is a catastrophe.
Edit : I don't see how this is more castlevania than LoI, I mean it plays like a horror game, like Resident Evil with melee, the difference I see is that you're required to fight the enemies instead of run away. then go find more keys and levers. to the next boss.

I just skimmed the thread and pretty much everyone was saying that the demo wasn't out yet.

The guy who posted early on probably played the game at an event. Or was lying. Whatever.

Regarding ads, they probably want to be careful about how much time they want to devote to it. After all, Other M was advertised pretty well up to its release, and it still sold relatively poorly.
