The Snake unlockable is pretty damn failworthy. It strikes me as egregious sucking up, and the fact it has absolutely nothing to do with the Castlevania mythos pisses me off at least a little bit. Pumpkin, albeit completely useless, at the very least didn't offend me.

Funny, all the video game sites/blogs talked about Solid Snake/costume being in the game. I bet they will all facepalm seeing this bullshit. "No wait guys, not an actual outfit its...an eyepatch and a badanna.  :"

I don't know about you, but a simple costume isn't going to make or break this game for me. I never had a problem in the originals only using the sprite I was given. And LoS is far from lame. Have you played it yet?

A lack of costume I can see being a tiny bit dissapointing, but really dissapointing? Play the game- and you will forget about the costume because you will be enjoying this awesome game. I don't see what's wrong with Gabriel's costume anyway. He looks like Simon in CV2, and running around as Snake in this game would be really weird and a novelty that would wear thin quickly.
