As if it wasn't bad enough that Gabriel "Belmont" had to become Dracula but now they are saying his is the first and last belmont?

Does it mean he is the only belmont in existence? If so that is pretty lame in my opinion. Or it could mean that the Belmont bloodline died out around the present time? If so that is also pretty damn lame. Either way this storyline is getting crapier in my opinion.

So that one rumor in EGM that Alucard uses the Vampire Killer in SotN would finally come to fruition.

I just hope we get a real Dracula fight, either in the DLC or the sequel.

Personally I think Rinaldo Gandolfi will be the one to fight Dracula. They hinted around that he's still alive in LOS, so I wouldn't rule it out. Hell, now that we have a time machine in the mix, Gabriel could travel back in time to ask for his help/advice. Just throwing it out there.

I wonder if he is even human anymore.  I mean no human could live for centuries, unless like Claudia, he is an Aghartian.  It would make sense considering that the Aghartians were said to be an advanced civilization (according to the narration).  Also, I believe it is said that the Aghartians can live for centuries.  After all, according to the narration, the Black Knight guarded Claudia for centuries.

Yea same here. The fallen brotherhood knight said that he disguises himself as a crazy old beggar that roams the bones forest/veros woods.
Fits the description lol. Of course, the knight could have very well been insane himself, but I still like to think there's more purpose behind these words.

with the "first and last Belmont" thing, my guess is that he is the first Belmont, has a son and starts the bloodline, but because Gabriel becomes immortal he out lives each of the members of his bloodline.

Maybe his son, grandson, great-grandson, etc. will fight Gabriel in future games, but Gabriel always returns because he is Dracula. That is my guess.
