well uzo you did say that the grimoire is a type of book and not a spacific book. I probably did misinterpret you back there but only cause the post wasn't very clear-cut for me to properly interpret. It's a thing that happens with me every now and then.

Is that Yoko, or Sypha made to look a lot like her?  The year says 1476.

its also interesting that Julius's year says 1999, which of course makes sense, but is this supposed to be him from at that time?

I dont think so. It's probably a blurb like Yoko's, referencing a past event, not that they are from that year or whatever.

That artwork of Julius is enough in and of itself to make me want to get this game.

Unfortunately, knowing IGA, he's going to have that disgusting Dawn of Sorrow sprite.

EDIT: YES! They change his abysmal walking animation:

Why is Julius portrayed much more agile in AoS than DoS? I don't understand why they decided to change him so much.

His original sprite was a lot better imo

No harm no foul. I probably could have worded it better.

near future...

Julius's year says 1999
It is written that "he defeat of Dracula in 1999".
NOT written that "he came from 1999".

I don't translate worthless sentences.
Please stop over-thinking. don't scatter misunderstanding.

I really hope we get the 1999 game soon. I would love the game with Julius as the main protagonist.

I think Konami should get some other team to make this 1999 game since IGA might screw it up in some form or another. Eventhough it's IGA's brainchild, I think Baron Von Frankenstein would out-do him, hands down.

Seeing what Cox is doing with Lords of Shadow, this is how I think it should be tackled:

1. IGA(who already has the gist of the story), writes the treatment, which will act as a basic plot premise.
2. Cox will have his guys use that plot premise and add some meat to it(y'know, take IGA's story as the foundation and build up).
3. Get Mercury Steam to make the game.
4. With IGA acting as supervisor and Cox as producer, get Ayami Kojima on board as character designer, and perhaps a few composers into the mix(Michiru Yamane will be one, though I'd love Yuzo Koshiro to contribute some, as well).

I'd love that! THAT could make one truly epic Demon Castle War game!!
