I'm not going to defend this game, but don't shoot it in the foot yet everyone. It could still play very well, you know. Instead of looking at it as a full game, look at it as a cheap multiplayer game to play on rainy days or when you're bored. That's pretty much what this game is. I'm still very much tired of Metroidvania, but this doesn't look like a serious game at all anyway. This is pretty much the shell of what Metroidvanias are.

Not to mention we weren't even supposed to know about this game until whenever, E3, perhaps? Maybe it'll look better in motion. It still looks incredibly lazy, however.

True taht it could still be decent...... but come friggin on! If this isn't fake, ........ I just don't know what to say.

That said, The start image does look nice. But this game seems like a fan made game because someone thought it'd be cool to have a bunch of random characters together.

Well it is XBLA/possibly PSN after all. It's going to look rather cheap.

I am disappointed with this game. I was expecting something ... better. If this game is actually being produced by Konami, and some assembly is not a fan, dammit! What a waste!

I think this must be the work of a fan as it is not possible that they have not learned from the failure that was Castlevania Judgement ... If they did that, beyond anything they would be very stupid. Make twice the same wrong thing.

And in my opinion there are still some chars to get well all right ... = D

Juste Belmont, Richter Belmont, Angela (from the pachinko), Lady Gunner (the arcade), Maxim, Ortega (from LoD), Hector, Leon Belmont, Joachim Armster, Hugh Baldwin, Yoko Belnades, Stella and Loretta Lecarde and Julius Belmont . \ O /

Blue Ryu Belmont needs to be in this game.

Here's a really depressing thought: What if this is the game teased with the presumed SoTN2 trailer? It does have Alucard in it, and it will be on the 360.

WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?!?!?
If I forgot "everything I knew about Castlevania" I certainly wouldn't be excited about a new one coming out now would I?

If that trailer was for this game and if it's real, expect a fallout from IGA fans.

one thing this game might have is a good "pick up and play" feel to it, which is nice after all those Metroidvanias that require a lot of commitment to do anything in.  unless you count boss rush modes or training modes, i guess.

wow, there's actually a little excitement expressed over this game at the Kotaku board.  guess not everyone is concerned about sprite reuse or would even know it if they saw it.  or maybe they just haven't seen it yet?

There are some screenies that are a rumor but guys... it looks like a freaking fan game or just bad photoshop design and copy paste of sprites :S

Btw, the only real thing i guess it should be Shanoa-Soma-Alutard artwork, but... why they all together? an idea like Judgesh*t?

I think if they wanted to create something so different, why they did not create a spin-off where you use those chars for example in a classic game? They are metroidvanias characters in a Castlevania classic, would be nice. I think ...

...What the **** **** is that crap? That better not be real.

A co-op Castlevania isn't a bad idea if executed correctly but those screen shots just look ridiculously fake.  Reused sprites is one thing but that entire castle looks composed of 'take your pic areas' from the various Castlevania DS games. That just looks embarrassingly bad.

we haven't known about HD (gotta start using that acronym now instead of HoD..) for too long now.  would a hoaxter have enough time to put that together?  i suppose, but i'd expect it to look rather obviously fake.

I really don't see how people are linking this to IGA. The game is just so uncharacteristically IGA.
