As I pointed out, I'm not exactly the biggest Yamane fan; I've read an interview (on Eurogamer, I think) about 3 or 4 years ago about her leaving Konami do "dedicate herself to other things than videogames" and didn't really follow her work after that.
I was merely musing about the fact that if I know that - as a guy who loves Castlevania but isn't particularly fond of Michiru's work - you would expect someone who's so in love with her music that they would want it in a game where it wouldn't really fit to know better than me.
Point being: I'm glad MS didn't contact her for LoS (I appreciate her work in the Metroidvania games, as the repetitive but catchy tunes work with the game format, but I'll admit I've not been blown away by anything in PoR or OoE, so if she worked on that I'm gonna count myself as even less of a fan) but even if they wanted to, I doubt they could arrange anything at this point.
