Topic: (Rumor) E3 Leak; Castlevania is there.

Well, my thirst for a 2D vania is very big, but with so many rumors, i don't have high hopes. At least if Castlevania turns out to be a hoax, i hope that the new Metroid for 3DS is legit, since it's supposed to be 2D or 2.5D.

If it's aimed at the Japanese market, I think we're headed back to anime (possibly beautiful) artwork, maybe even story cues.
   

Castlevania is about the only Japanese franchise I could really believe that for these days, and even then, given it's track record with trying to "appeal", we got cheap shit anime, DEATHNOTE, and then Western/European

It won't be Castlevania, the mystery 3DS game is going to be a first party title if Nintendo is offering a Q&A for it. Metroid or Pokemon would be my guesses.

I wish Konami Leak Guy would drop by again on /v/ sometime if he knows anything, but he said he wouldn't be back.

Yeah, I'm assuming Metroid, as the second leak says.  Or some figurine gimmick game ala Skylanders since they're working on something akin to it already.  (And knowing them, it probably is sadly.)
