I'm 100% certain that cat is part of a mini-puzzle, seeing as it stands almost next to a chest inaccessable to Shanoa.

But, yes, I don't see why they make the woodlands areas so short, usually they are just introductions as you say, like several places in both DoS and PoR (even SotN). The forest worked well in CV4 (again that game is awsome), and it was pretty decent in Rondo too.

I'm really starting to dig the spaciousness of the backgrounds. Not necessarily the room layouts themselves, but the depth of the paralax layers just looks great.

It feels more 3D than ever, unless that's just some weird light play off the reflection of the DS he's holding in that vid.

Yeah, it looks great. Now, all Iga has to do is get over his fear of 3D games and actually make it 3D! I agree though, the graphics look great!

I just want to fight that giant lobster. I would be content with that. The magic spells are looking better. I like that. I hope there is more magic integration within the gameplay.

The spells look excellent, but what I really want is a whip glyph. I want to bash in some skeleton heads with a whip like in the originals! Come on, Iga, don't disappoint me!

It would also be cool if there was another usable character, like the Julius mode from Dawn of Sorrow, but that's unlikely.

Every IGA game has a bonus character.  My guess is Albus.

Hm...Perhaps I need to look into this more, because I don't even know who you're talking about. Crud, I'll go do some Order of Ecclesia research! Any site suggestions? :-\

I sure hope so. But if it's Richter, AGAIN, Iga is officially a complete and utter failure.

What's up with you and hating Iga? Iga is the only thing keeping Castlevania alive right now, so be happy he exists!

i'd rather the series ended with dignity than be dragged down the way of megaman and other franchises that started strong, then got milked out of everything possible and ran to the ground.

Well the hand held games continue to receive much praise and high sales.  So it still has as much dignity as ever.

cv has been doomed ever since it lost its ability to be dignified, and that happened when they added animu humour and turned the series into saturday morning cartoon style game. now all it needs are disney characters to finish it off. i mean, judgement is already compared to kh on other forums.

Kh? I'm guessing...Kingdom Hearts?

Anyway, as much as I hate to admit it, Serio's right. Eventually, Castlevania will die off. However, as long as this site is here, I'll be here posting on the forums and playing Castlevania Legacy of Darkness until the day I die! >:(
