I doubt the fat man is a picture of Aeon. If it is, it is no way the same Aeon as in Judgment.

I find it very hard to believe that there are two different Aeon dudes. Especially since we already know that Ecclesia and Judgment have some kind of connectivity. Unless Aeon is like Cid from Final Fantasy. Or sumthang!

Voice choice confirmed for in game config, relics actually look like objects other than sparkling cubes.

Good. That was pretty lazy of PoR to do, among other things.

That the cursor points to Aeon doesn't necessarily mean, that the picture in the bg shows him. Maybe that guy is someone who can give you clues about all the other villagers, so, of course, he's shown in the bg. Maybe Aeon is highlighted, but you still have to push A to get a profile page of his or something.

Yeah, that actually sounds likely.
Otherwise IGA have some serious explaining to do.

"No no no. You see, he's a fat man because the people I work with managed to get me drunk and have the Nutty Professor choose how he should look like and then wedidsomestuffandthenwejustgothekfsnfws ......*passes out*"

3 hours later...

"Did it work?"

I'm pretty sure that man is someone you talk to regarding the other villagers.  Like someone who goes "Did you help this villager with her Milk delivery?" or "Did you get this couple's Mask from the East?" or "Did you help these twins learn a new Dance?", etc.

Something like that...
