Yeah, I noticed that too.

Juste is awesome! Had Sypha been a guy, Castlevania wouldn't have existed. Then again, there's also the possibility that they adopted...

Juste had that funky aura to him, it just makes it look like there are 5 duplicates of him running around, instead of the desired look.

And he shouts something like "let's kick!" when you use certain spells.

Juste's a no-talent ass-clown.

Maxim could rape him, and he's not even a Belmont.

HOD sucks for the most part.

HoD sucks. Juste does not. I think his character design is the best of all CV characters.

I'll agree his box art was pretty slick (if a little too effeminate, of course). Too bad every other picture of him blew :P

And yeah his sprites.... just... no.

I'm going to have to agree here.  His front box art picture for Harmony is pretty awesome...

...but his sprites, his character, etc.  they're kinda not all that alright.

As for Jonathan and Charlotte.... Charlotte seems like a Hermoine annoyance chick.  Yeah you wanna have her but she's really not that great otherwise.

They should've made her 2 years older and given her glasses and a real weapon instead of a Book... and made the game such that you could conceivably play as her throughout the entire game instead of having her Sidekick the blonde ditz that is Jonathan.

HOW is that guy the son of John Morris!?  John had NO LINES OF DIALOGUE and he kicked at least 10x the amount of ass that Jonathan did.

10 times 0 is still 0. :P

but yeah, he must have been adopted or something. even juste being the grandson of simon wasn't such a disgrace to the bloodline of his ancestors.

Well played, Serio... Well played indeed.
:P

Yeah I think Juste's game needs revamping.

List of games that need revamping:
-Vampire Killer-
-Simon's Quest-
-Dracula's Curse-
-Harmony of Dissonance-
-All 3 Gameboy Titles-

Back to Focus Points though (the topic itself), I think on Live Action there needs to be platforming perils.  The gears in the clocktower need to look like they can grind the hero into giblets.  Spike platforms and things that objects can get caught in would be good (like the big grinding stone in Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom).

There also needs to be some beauty thrown in.  Lots of beautiful stained-glass windows in the Chapel, etc.

HOD sucks for the most part.

I never could understand the hate here behind HoD, given that it blew away its predeccesor. Funnier still, given how Juste is the only Belmont able to cast spells. I'd say CotM needs more revamping, given the tedious grinding for those cards and the terrible backgrounds/ level design. And some more music to it; I wasn't impressed with the bulk of the remixes, especially after hearing them loop for about ten minutes or so. Oh well.

While beautifully designed sets would be a god-send, I have a feeling Paul Anderson would only want to focus on SOME PRETTY EXTREME BATTLES set in a typical castle.
