Henry is an annoying little brat who can't run quickly to save his life, and as an adult, he's got a wicked annoying quest. Maybe I'd like him if he had a better quest...?

his quest isn't that annoying. it's pretty refreshing actually, considering it ties in perfectly into the main story, seeing as he enters the castle alongside reinahrdt/carrie to save the other kids drac abducted to satisfy his pedo urges.

plus he's an unrelated person, and he doesn't go against drac. makes way more sense than some of iga's extra games where even a weak axe armor can kill drac.

cornell just fights what looks like the servant, unaware that it was all planned, to steal his power and use it to resurrect the real dracula in a new body soma cruz style, and reinhardt is most likely the guy who kills malus/drac with carrie's assist.

Ok, first off you are wrong again.  No nobles dressed like Alucard, post anything of worth for proof otherwise.  And I'm not even in America smart guy.

That's right...he's from Canada! (I jest)

Here's your proof right here boyo -  http://www.marquise.de/en/1700/menguide/18men0.shtml

Gives a good account of styles very similar to what you see in most of Kojima's styles: part 2 looks like Dracula's and Alucard's outfit, part 3 and 4 look more like Richter's, and part 5 looks tiny bit like St. Germaine to an extent.

So what is it you're trying to argue, exactly? That the character outfits designs aren't as drastic as Kojima's? Simon has shorts and a fully-open top for christ's sake! Maria looks loli! Now, you please prove to me how that's not drastic. (the only thing that Kojima produced that ever looked anywhere near that kind of outlandish was Chronicles Simon, and even that wasn't this bad)

Ok... none of the outfits you posted have more than a slightly passing similarity.  I stand by my statement that the argument of Kojima bringing historical accuracy is ridiculous.

And Sindra, my argument was in response to ciel saying that the outfits were historically accurate.  I don't think Judgement's are either.

And about Kojima switching the aesthetic to the "right one"  That is opinion my friend.  There are at least as many people here who would argue against that than for it.  And I know what an athletic build is, how come half of your argument is based on you assuming things?  You don't have to be a body builder to have an athletic build, but you need more than Alucard has.

I have the proof right there that if the outfits aren't exactly dead-on, they have a decent resemblance....more so than "slight" as you put it. If you want to deny that proof, you knock yourself out.

And unless you've seen Alucard naked, you don't know "athletic" he is underneath all those layers. That....and he's a freaking dhampire! Dues Ex Machina right there.

yeah that blows, it shouldn't matter when you complete it, the goal should just be to find all the kids before you die.

Well em... hi! i'm new!

Well.. i'm not new at all... i'm Osaka... just lose my pass and can't recover it...

Ok... forget it... let's talk about the game...

I'm a great CastleVania fan you know? i've followed the saga since 1987, when i've played the first title in my NES and... i just don't understand where's the problem with the outfits...

Yes, of course, they're aaaall differents but... Can we return to CastleVania II?

In that game, Simon has just CHANGED his armor

Ok, ok, maybe a bad sample

How about Symphony's Richter? Or Rondomake Richter and Maria? Or Chronicles Simon?

The outfits changes are something totally typical in the CastleVania universe so... where are the problems now?

Oh, yeah, about Wii... before thinking on the Wii you must think before on IGA, i mean, does some of his game have an awful playability? No

We see copypaste graphics, stupid characters, awful dialogues but... not bad playability

The IGa team is working on this game, is going to be good, i'm sure about it.

First read correctly. Then write a reply. If it was just that they look different, then it would be acceptable. But I don't see anything of the unique CV-charm on the pics. And if you compare that to how the charas changed when kojima drew them, do you want to say that this here could replace the Kojima-Style? Or that it will? As said by many; it's like Soul Calibur IV: Castlevania.

mmmmm maybe you must read me correctly

I say that is not a bad change, in fact i'm tired of Kojima's dasingns and i'm always opened to new alterntives.

And... what's the typical "CastleVania charm"? Can you show me it after two or three gameplay changes and lots of different designers from Vampire Killer to Order of Ecclesia?

It's IGA? It's pre-IGA? It's Ayami? It's Anime?

Ok, Simon's Outfit is ugly as hell, and Dracula looks like a Gold Saint from Saint Seiya, but out of these two i think it's not bad at all.

Yeah, and Maria looks exactly like MisaMisa-chan, Simon like some Light who took steroids and coloured his hair red... Alucard looks like FUCKING SEPHIROTH!
And now, answer me, HOW in the bloody hell can you find THAT possibly POSITIVE!? If you do, then go play Soul Calibur or something and let CV alone.

Well, before this Simon looked like a muscled-red hadired version of Alucard and Maria was a Younger version of all Kojima's female clones

This is a change, Ayami Kojima supposed another change.

I insist: where is the problem?

You dislike it, ok, me not, it's still an opinion, you know?

I can 'cause i'm opened to any change after about ten years with Alucard and Maria clones

Wow, wow! Stop that, castlevaniac-macho-man, why i should leave CastleVania? It's been 21 years since i've played my first CastleVania and there's no CV i didn't played yet, do you know what does this mean? And, after aaaaaaall those years i never, NEVER said those sort of things to ANYONE.

I'm an Old School Gamer, my favourite CastleVania is Super CastleVania IV, i think that IGAvanias are not CastleVanias at all, i'm tired about Kojima designs but, you know, those are O-PI-NIONS

If i like or not Death Note-ish designs does not give you the right to tell me that sort of things just like i don't have the right to tell IGAfans if they are or not true CastleVania fans.

I just given my opinion, you don't mind if it's opposite to yours or not and, from the point i did respected all the opinions given at this posts, you should shut up and listen people just like people listen you.

I'd still agree with Ciel in that Kojima's designs, whether anyone likes it or not, are correct for the time period. [Personally, I love her designs, but that may be just me.] ...However some of the new designs don't look to be from any time period at all. >_> I suppose it's to make it all "3D" and stuff, but they could have at least made the characters look remotely similar to themselves...
